I’m looking forward to the truth coming out about January 6, what they called an insurrection, the news reports and findings, because I personally know a lot of people who went there, the atmosphere they described, what happened at the Capitol, what the news reported were a lot different.

What else do you think that it was? The news has already been released, quite a bit of it in a fairly raw form.

We saw Trump work up a crowd of gullible fools. This is not name calling since they did believe the myths and lies that Trump won. Believing that any time after the first week of November made them gullible. That they did not know that they were wrong by January 6th made them fools. The worked up crowd then marched on the Capitol. Without Trump who showed how easily he lied and that his gullible fools would believe him when he said that he would march with them. When they got there they broke into the Capitol and wrecked quite a bit of havoc in searching for various members of the government while chanting things like "Hang Mike Pence!"

What else is there to know? If anything it is looking even worse for the Republicans as we learn more since some high ranking Republicans may have been involved.

Why Ashli Babbitt was shot, and rightfully, has been explained to you countless times. I doubt if anything new will help you to understand your error.

And there are laws against people profiting from making money from illegal activities. That was why John Sullivan's funds were confiscated. If he wins his case he could get them back. But there is enough evidence right now for the government to seize his funds just as they would seize the funds of a drug dealer.

What exactly do you not understand? Perhaps people here could help you with that.

You did mention your opinion about Ashli Babbitt, you also mentioned your gun safety expertise in another post. If you ever took a gun safety class you would understand that killing a person with a firearm is the last resort. If you view the video when Ashli (wrongly) went through the window there were 2 people in the hall, the officer with a gun that shot and killed her and another guy walking the hall. Ashli was unarmed, the hall had been evacuated, what looked like SWAT were coming in the rear. In my opinion I don’t see any reason for the officer to just shoot her at that moment. An inexperienced person maybe, but not someone who is trained.

And @ElishaElijah, from your vey own source it looks as if Sullivan's defense is baseless. He claims to have been an independent journalist, but his own recorded actions refute that claim:

"Once inside, the DOJ says Sullivan appeared to celebrate with the mob each time they charged through rooms, and volunteered his own knife to help break down doors into the House Chamber."

A journalist does not become part of the story. He aid and abetted. Of course he pled not guilty and wants his money back. So do drug dealers when they are caught. The assets are seized until after the results of the trial come in. I can't see how Sullivan can possible maintain his evidence if the claims of the article that you linked are correct.

By the way, there is a related phenomenon out there right now. There are people that call themselves "First Amendment Auditors". They make YouTube videos of themselves recording what they claim are events that they are allowed to video. They are often very wrong. And to make their videos more interesting they often try to interact with those that they are recording. Once they do that they can no longer claim to be "auditors" any longer. An auditor is not part of the story. That is why they are usually called frauditors. At best Sullivan would be described as one of those. He, like others, is going to go to prison for a while. These are the people that bear the guilt of Babbitt's death.

You brought him up for some strange reason. And yes, the whole crowd were not insurrectionists, but a significant fraction of them were. Most were only useful idiots. It is only the lawbreakers that are being punished.

The point is to find facts from news sources, we can talk this or that but pick an issue or story, analyze it to find the facts and see who reports the whole story instead of just a part.
