Back to topic?
Say something intelligent about the topic.
What "unproven theories"?

Nice try, but you have been asked repeatedly to support your claim and have gone to great lengths to avoid it.

What "unproven theories"?

Still in denial?
Or do you think your blatant avoidance of the direct question: ""What "unproven theories"?"" some how helps your argument?

Stop acting like someone who is desperately seeking a way out of the corner they backed themselves into and answer the question.

It's more likely that you have absolutely no idea what evolutionary theory describes and explains. Just a hunch. Let's call it an artistic insight.

Coming from a highly prominent scientist :foot:

Are highly prominent scientists accurately adhering to the scientific method or are they just promoting and putting all of their faith into Mother Nature?

Heh, well isn't that what Nature really is?

Funny...the English language essentially uses the term "nature" to define our innate disposition and birth, as well as to possess creative power in the material world.

So lets review, what has man created?

Nature is actually the Egyptian word, "Neter" (deity), which can be fundamentally understood as the order of the Universe and or what most conceive of as being "divine" or "God/Godlike".

I've been One to say, talk of "God" is belief of "God". Anyone can play word games with this, but few take it for what it is.

And your intelligent opinion about the topic is what?

And your intelligent opinion about the topic is what?
Your blatant avoidance and flamboyant denial is most annoying.

Not the least bit suprising, but annoying non the less.

So, what "unproven theories" are you talking about?

Back to topic .....anyone?....

So God is working with a test tube...Earth...that must be continually stirred.

The continual churning of chemistry creates random events.
earth quakes, tornadoes, hurricanes......

The life in the test tube must have some of that ability to be random.

Without the 'random'....the life would require exacting conditions....
no 'flex'.

The design of the life needs to be random...flexible.

Once again....acting more like a guilty defendant on the witness stand than someone participating in a discussion in good faith.

Back to topic .....anyone?....
The topic is Mother Nature vs. God.
In the course of the discussion you made the following statement....
And yet, at any other time, you would be willing to quote science and it's unproven theories as fact.

Are you willing to follow up that statement by answering the question "what unproven theories"?

Or will you continue to avoid the question?

He probably thinks the word "theory" is self explanitory.

Actually....
We've had this discussion at great length under another thread.

The word theory is almost self explanatory.
What you are witnessing is the objection to theory as an argument against faith.

Theory cannot trump faith.

And theories are by nature unproven...hence the word theory.

So...shall we proceed with this discussion about ....faith....
which requires no proving?

Theory trumps faith every time.
Faith is a belief without evidence. A theory is a conclusion derived from evidence.

The word theory is almost self explanatory.
Since I am fairly certain you will Humpty Dumpty the definition:
theory
n 1: a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the
natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge
that applies in a variety of circumstances to explain a
specific set of phenomena; "theories can incorporate
facts and laws and tested hypotheses"; "true in fact and
theory"
2: a tentative theory about the natural world; a concept that
is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain
facts or phenomena;
What you are witnessing is the objection to theory as an argument against faith.
Why not just be direct and flat out state that we witnessing your desperation?

Theory cannot trump faith.
Maybe not for you.
But for those who prefer truth and facts, it most certainly does.

And theories are by nature unproven...hence the word theory.
And what do you set out to "prove"?

So...shall we proceed with this discussion about ....faith....
I have grown past your wishful thinking and fairy tales.
And don't bother threatening with your god.
I am even less impressed with him.

which requires no proving?
Which is why you much prefer faith over truth and facts.
Discarding truth and facts allows you to believe whatever fool notion enters into that brain of yours.

And don't bother threatening with your god.
I am even less impressed with him.

I don't care to placate your feelings.

Which is why you much prefer faith over truth and facts.
Discarding truth and facts allows you to believe whatever fool notion enters into that brain of yours.

And you think a religious discussion is about me?

Go look in the mirror and call yourself an accident.
That might work for you.

Doesn't work for believers.
