Second that. Horrible movie. It's a remake of Fern Gully with a $400M CGI budge and still not a good remake, at that.

Right up there on my movies I hate is the "Avatar of the Old West" - Dances With Wolves (or is Avatar "Dances With Wolves in Space"?)

You don't like wooden acting? Mm, Kevin Costner...

That never dawned on me, but I really have had the chance to see Avatar either,

I forgot about 2001: A Space Odyssey. One of the worst movies of all-time. If I had not been able to fast forward through long stretches of it, I don't think I would have made it through.

You must cut some slack to young'ns with short attention spans.
2001 ain't for everyone. I thought the ending was less than stellar though.
(Pun. Get it? Oh, come on! It's not that bad.....eh....well maybe.)

I'm also one of the 3 people who liked Dances with Wolves.
Yeah, I know it's preachy, but looking past that, it was pretty good.

I don't know how anyone can be a good atheist without loving 2001. And 2010.

I guess you'd want to pull your hair out while slowly browsing an art museum listing to Beethoven.

(just refuse to believe that 2001 is one of the best movies of all time)
I guess the rest comes natural.:p
I consider it enjoyable, but hardly one of the best. Still, it was a game changing movie for sci fi. Special effects were like nothing I'd seen before, ie, more
sciency than fantasy throughout most of it. I see it as similar to The Matrix in that respect. Contrast it with Gattaca, much better movie, but with low key fx.

It's not that. I didn't like it for the same reason you didn't like There Will Be Blood.

I haven't seen it in many years, but I own it. I liked it a lot.

Letter From Iwo Jima: Letters from Iwo Jima (2006) - IMDb

Clint, what were you thinking man? Nobody reads subtitles that fast.

I spent the whole 15 minutes (before I gave up on it) going "I can read the subtitles, or I can watch the movie. I can read the subtitles, or I can watch the movie. Looks like a good movie. wish I knew what the hell was going on".

I liked it too, but I think they should change the title to "Good movie, Kevin, but it still doesn't make up for Water World".
