Muslims Praying = Erotic

I guess nobody would have imagined this coming up on this forums but there is a first for everything.

I find Muslims praying to be the pinnacle of dirty. For me I associated Islam(like most religions) with BDSM since it is nothing but cosmic Sadomasochism in my humble opinion. Heaven, hell, wrathful and loving god followed by all of the Master/Slave connotations riddled through the Quran. Everything about Islam is neck high in BDSM and all it needs is leather and whips but I hear that the Shias already use whips on themselves.

I have ready the translations of the Islamic prayers and they are steeped with Lordship and enslavement to god. So all these poetic verses are to me but highly erotic poems to a metaphysical Dom.

Don't get me started on the prostration part . That is the most erotic of all.
I have tried numerous times to do such things but it just falls short. I have tried looking at religion in all sorts of ways but they all just come down to dirty thoughts.
I feel as if I am the only person who sees this but I find it blatantly obvious that religion and in particular certain aspects of it, are just obviously erotic and appeal to human sensuality

For me it is not that religion is just about eroticism it is that all I can notice in it, is eroticism.

People find comfort in religion, I find lack of comfort.
People find hope in religion, I find despair.
People find knowledge in religion, I find stupidity.

People find purity in religion, I find dirty innuendos.

It all just comes down to subjectivity I guess

I consider it a way of life, and ways of life differ in meaning and results from person to another. That is why I respect all beliefs and even lately kindly interact with those bashing mine.

I am not mocking it, seriously. I understand that your religion comprises of your culture especially with you being a Saudi(which is what us Americans call a triple Muslim). When I was a Christian I found peace within Christianity now the very nature of the religion makes me depressed and frightens me.
Islam though is more of an erotic display because I cannot disassociate it from eroticism. Hinduism for example has lots of eroticism in its religion and it is not viewed as bad.
I am an Atheist so you should sort of expect that my opinions on religion will be skewed.

In any case, I am sure, if you study prayers in Islam more (its philosophy, meanings of postures, the glorifying and supplications in it, etc.) and maybe try to perform it, then I am sure you wouldn't see it that way.

I am not sure which sect does it but I just know it is done during Ashura or whatever. I am not keen on specifics obviously.

I wouldn't call an atheist an infidel. But, being an atheist does not mean you can't make an attempt to understand theists. I mean you may still be an atheist but you can study the philosophy of prayers for Muslims and try to understand their feelings.

Secondly, Ashura is the anniversary of the tragedy of Karbala which mostly us shia Muslims commemorate and mourn on. And I did not oppose you claiming that you mistook the denominations. I was opposing the mistaken idea that self-flagellation is something common among the subscribers of the denomination.
