my encounter with gods spirit

I don't think it's a mystery how religions start. People see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe. Then other people believe them and scoff at the scoffers for using critical thought.

That is not how it worked for me. I saw gross images after having seen the movie the exorcist. I did not wish to see them but an evil spirit used my guilt to plague me with them. The Holy Spirit gave me a song "Nothing but the boold of Jesus" to erase my guilt and the visions went away.

I think you are mistaken in your use of words and mean illusion. The person seems quite clear about what he saw. An illusion supposedly comes from the mind. It is a matter of the mind saying there is something there when there isn't anything there. A vision is different. It also is projected through the mind but can represent something that is there. More likely a vision represents a spiritual reality and not a physical one.

i am not sure what it means if you read my encounter of god's spirit you know then what happen to me.I just don't know ,but i can tell you its real.some of you said that this happens to a lot of people where can i read about this .

i make the claim because its true and now you know the truth everyone who reads my encounter will know the truth . The same way you know god ,you want to believe even thou you have not seen him. But i have seen gods spirit and those who believe in God continue on believing because god is real and alive. I am gods messenger not in words but in sight .I might be the only man alive that can say this other then the prophets who god chose.

Don't get discouraged Theopulos, it has been done before. Whole religious movements have been started with the visions of a single man without any witnesses or collaboration from anyone else. I would suggest that you get a scribe (editor) to put it in proper sentence structure with a poetic ring to it. Do not make it too straight forward so that future scholars have room to spend a lifetime interpreting it's true meaning.
Remember that you have to offer some reward to the believers and consequences to the unbelievers if your movement is to grow.
Try not to instill too much hatred in the hearts of the believers against the unbelievers. We have enough of that in the world already.
But if it does start to dwindle a couple of beheadings and stonings (kept to a minimum) should liven it up. There is nothing like a little blood letting to bring people together and unify them.

I am just rattling your chains Theopulus. Maybe you did have a vision that was meant for you alone. Jesus said that where two or more are gathered in my name I am with you also. When someone speaks in tongues there is always someone who can interpret it. God always collaborates His messages.

Personally, I think you are all delusional for believing in unsubstantiated nonsense. But that's just me.
As long as you don't hurt anyone, try to make money off this hogwash, or try to push it on people have at it.

I am not mistaken. According to the Online Oxford Dictionary a Delusion can be defined as: "an idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument".

This would, by definition, make any supernatural event, vision or otherwise, that is not backed by empirical evidence, if believed, the result of a delusion and the person who believed it would be deluded.

And before you postulate something belonging to a "spiritual reality" you must first provide evidence that there even -is- a "spiritual reality". So far we only have evidence of the physical version.

People like Theopulos are probably the reason why religion exists. I seriously reckon this is how people must of thought back then.
