The Veterinary industry is also at the mercy of big pharma....its second biggest customer I think.
Vets are also trained to use drugs in their therapies. The whole system is set up to make sure that money continues to flow into already burgeoning coffers. Do you know how expensive drugs are for pets these days, not to mention all their vaccinations?

Another really very odd idea.
The British Veterinary SERVICE is at the mercy of the ROYAL COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SURGEONS, Deeje. That is the veterinary watchdog.

How much does it cost for a student to qualify as a Veterinary surgeon?
Please show the annual tuition charges, board fees, subsistence costs, and travel expenses etc and show how many years this continues for.

Please show how much the property rental fees are for a six vet surgery, together with fees, wages and costs of with 12 nurses, 3 receptionists, office manager, refuse collection services, x-ray servicing, electric, heating, two vet ambulances, night service fees etc
Please produce an annual costing.

That will put that one to bed, I think.

If you cannot afford to look after a pet then you really shouldn't keep one.

Just because most of the World does not follow Wachtower this doesn't mean that we're all satanic evil greedies, Deeje.

I do not dispute this.....what I am saying is that a pernicious greed overtook the practice of medicine and convinced even the doctors that drugs were the only way to go. Who tests and approves these drugs? Who sets the standard of their efficacy? Who determines whether the side effects are worse than the condition?

Medical Watchdogs. In the UK at any rate.
You will find bad people in the World, anywhere, all around. But if you try to wipe out a whole industry with such a generalisation then you deservre to go without it.
Things go wrong........ my late wife and I knew that well.
Some Space rockets blow up. Some Car manufacturers have cheated. Some Electrical giants have been dishonest. etc. I still use or benefit from all these wonderful producers.

No one said you had to search in the woods OB. These supplements are available through health food stores and practitioners. The work is all done for you and the dosage is regulated and no squirrel pee was involved in the making....

All produced by pharmaceutical companies!
You just choose to like those ones.

I am speaking from my own experience OB...what you choose to do is up to you. All I am suggesting is that things are not as they seem when huge profits are involved. "The love of money is the root of all evil"....we know that's true.
I think you'd be shocked at what and who money can buy....scientists are not saints you know. They are as corruptible anyone.

So don't you take the services that they offer.
Who can you trust? Nobody? Then close your doors to the world.
I would sooner take my chances, just as the sparrow in the garden does, or the local sparrow hawk that flies for them, or the fox that hopefully visits our duck enclosures on cold nights. And I love them all.

Did I say these doctors are quacks? I have great respect for many doctors, especially the ones who bother to do their research and who have years of experience in their fields. Surgeons are high on my list actually. You see we need both kinds of medicine because one compliments the other....or they could if there was not so much competition for the almighty dollar and pride getting in the way.

Yes, I think you did, in as much as you doubted their integrity and honesty.
You asked me 'would they tell you'....... so there it is. imo.

I know that a good many doctors have taken a stand against the corrupt practices of big pharma and were willing to forsake their medical licences to offer people real medicine....the kind that heals.

I knew a doctor that went 'natural science. He had been struck off for dishonesty I seem to remrember.

I’m not a pill popper and never have been OB. But if I get a headache (which is not very often) I might take an aspirin.
I have arthritis in my back and knee, but for that I take fish oil and glucosamine. I would never take ongoing pain meds for that.

I never was......... until I nearly died back in 2003. I listen now.
Back and knee pain? You take tabs for those??!! Please. They cost a lot but you might try researching the Pain Pen. I bought one last year for my knees, the less expensive one which takes longer to use. I couldn't believe how amazing it was so I bought my wife the Pain Pen+ which uses AA batteries for her hips. She couldn't believe it. You might look in to these items, all produced by a greedy wicked Swedish company possibly, but oh boy do they deliver.

Now did that throw doubt upon a specialist surgeon's advice or not?

......... and later on you asked if I was putting words in your mouth when I asked whether you support drug-driving? Where I live if a doctor prescribes alcohol to a patient (which they can do) he isn't allowed to drive either.
