Lifting a ban? These women choose to wear Niqab without being forced on by anyone. They do this because of their love for Allah and his messenger pbuh.
I often wonder, if knowing that you will be punished by your family and believing that you will be tortured by your god for not "freely" choosing something still freely choosing it? Seems to me that a FREE choice would be knowing that your family is cool with it either way, you won't be labeled a **** and condemned in your society for not choosing it, and your god is not so petty as to say "I can see a strand of hair. Off to hell with you, harlot!".

I love you for that. Thanks.

I prefer to read how Dutch cooperated with their German cousins and how they snitched on the Jew. Clearly these cannot be denied.
The Dutch did collaborate, but at least they weren't nearly as despicable as the Arab world during the Nazi Regime. They literally had their own SS Factions. So, it seems you are a bit biased on this issue.

Relations between Nazi Germany and the Arab world - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Relations between Nazi Germany and the Arab World refers to political and military links between Germany and Arab nationalists during the era of Nazi Germany (1933–1945). The relationship between the Nazi movement and leadership and the Arab world encompassed contempt, propaganda, collaboration and in some instances emulation. Cooperative relationships were founded on shared hostilities toward common enemies, such as British and French imperialism, colonialism, communism and Zionism."

Guys this partial ban is evidence of Netherlands's crusade on Islam. Iam surprised u dont see it.
I think that is aan over reaction...realistically...will you be comfortable letting your child be taught by a person that is masked and cannot be identified?
I feel its reasonable as its only in certain places ...what happens if a female driver is pulled over by a traffic officer ..and he cannot see the face to verify teh license especially if he is a male officer.
if the need is to hide the face why even bother to be photographed for an identity document etc?
Also...Netherlands is pre dominantly non muslim...and society at large make the rules...so at least agree to reasonable rules rather than claim injustice..

I'd be fine with it even if the main purpose of the law was to make the most extreme Muslims feel uncomfortable enough to move out of the Netherlands.

Every action has reaction. So the Dutch can expect economy boycot from the gulfstates and other muslim countries if they continue on this dangerous path.

And we can trust that the House of Islam will do its best to ensure the reaction is not equal nor proportionate. Remember, not giving Muslims what they want is "dangerous". You heard it here first, folks!
