New "Interfaith DIR" Proposed

Just to clarify, a Green Interfaith DIR would be a DIR in which only respectful questions could be asked about Interfaith, and only Interfaith supporters would be allowed to debate. Is that right?

What would it mean if the DIR were blue?

Good question, Brick....I've been kicked out of DIRs so many times....I barely notice anymore.....but I think you've described a blue DIR...it's possible no one even knows

That's why the need for the Red and Pink DIR !!!

We could even make DawudTalut our Interfaith DIR leader !!!

Are we on board DawudTalut ??

Also, I propose a new approach to choosing the DIR leader....the DIR members VOTE !!!...rather than the St-ff choosing their favorites...we would VOTE.....and I nominate DawudTalut !!!

I can uderestand your request. Sometimes. threads are so occupied by extremists, you don't even feel encouraged to get in and participate. Seems that if you would engage in such a debate, where there is no space for agreement, you would have already lost, even if you win.

I am with Shiva fan on this one , .....Interfaith Discussions is a great Idea ,

but I dont see where Debate fits into the Interfaith ethic ???

Another feature of the "paired"...Interfaith DIR (Red or Pink DIR).....and......Interfaith Religious Debate forum....is that our leader...DawudTalut, would have the freedom to move posts between the DIR and debate forum at will.....rather than assign penalty points....this would keep both the discussion and debate on track !!

1-There is no need of leader, everyone should self-check what they are saying.
2-If it is very necessary, then you are better suit, you have many ideas and will.
3-I think, for many people, it is very difficult to make a 'friendly' debate.

You are a great visionary. Then why not add one leader from other faiths too. We may end up 10 members, 10 leaders or so..... The leaders of a thing which is not started yet...
