Bringing up ritual laws like the prohibition against mixing different fibers in cloth is not evidence that God does not exist. The laws like these were there to teach people spiritual typologies.
It is evidence that God is either evil or incompetent. You forgot what he did allow. Why did you do that?
As I've explained before on the topic of slavery. It's not that I believe God was ever happy about it; just like He was not happy with divorce but allowed it for the time. (Matthew 19:8) The Israelites were an unregenerate people. Not filled with the holy Spirit. (Numbers 11:29) They did not really care for spiritual things. They wanted to be wealthy, powerful people in the world. This in the bronze age, meant having slaves. The Law was there to bring them closer to God; but they were not prepared for some kind of anti-slavery revolution. Just read the Iliad for example to see bronze age views on slavery. War captives = slaves. The Law in the Bible is very "progressive" compared to Hammurabi's code for example; which unabashedly gives legal advantages to rich people.
You still haven't refuted my first point. How can you --who are finite-- accuse God when He is infinite in knowledge and power? You know more than God?
Do you admit you probably couldn't make a toaster oven on an uninhabited island without bringing equipment? Whereas God made the universe?
That has to be the weakest excuse ever. If he can ban mixed fabrics he can ban slavery. And to counter your argument people are going to be homosexual no matter what since roughly one in twenty is born that way. Why not ban slavery which does harm people and not ban homosexuality, which does not harm people?
