That's definitnely what I say.Jensa said:though some people say it's PC-ness at its worst
I started to think you had a problem spelling. I see absolutly know reason to blur gender pronouns. I'll never understand why guys want to act like girls, and girls want to act like guys. What do you guys think of pronouns like zie/sie, hir, ve, etc?
And since I tend to think of the unlabeled as female, you make a very good point, ma'am.Aqualung said:Crystal Red. You say you don't want to be thought of as any gender. I tend to just think of the unlabled as male .
Well, I think that technically he is male, but that's for a different threadCrystal Red said:I think most people think of the unlabelled as male, simply because of Christianity labelling God as a man when technically he's neither, it's just easier to talk to a face, even if you make the face up.
Well, go ahead and start it if you want....FeathersinHair said:That's right. She is male. (This different thread might be worthwhile.)
I tend to think of many unlabelled as male because I am male . I assume that if I were female , I would identify with these things as such ? People I tend to think of as people first , gender second ... actually that applies to most things , not just people .Crystal Red said:I think most people think of the unlabelled as male, simply because of Christianity labelling God as a man when technically he's neither, it's just easier to talk to a face, even if you make the face up.
I just really don't care about gender. I'm female, yeah, big deal. I'm otherkin (hahah!) and my "character" is neuter.I notice you prefer to keep your gender undisclosed Crystal Red; I must admit I cannot understand that (But I presume it is because I am 'Genderly happy' (if that exists!). I also see that you seem to like the idea, Jamaesi - The only way I can 'understand' that is because you wish to be associated with neither sex, which of course, I tend to find a shame - just an emotional reaponse, I suppose, from a heterosexual man........I don't make sense, do I ?
That's sad. People ought to know better.Ardent Listener said:Being an "androgyne" online is much more acceptable in our society than it is in person. When people do not know how to gender lable you in person, they will often become very upset and even angry.
