Norway mosque shooting an 'attempted act of terror', police say

No, to put them in jail is the best option, because if we kill them they will not learn. if they must sit in jail for 50-60 years they would understand that what they did was really wrong. And they knew they would not be free because of what they did.

Put them in jail where they will be a financial burden for 50/60 years and will never have to pay for anything else during that time.

That means family members and friends of the innocent victim that was murdered help pay for his free room/board, free meals, free medical, free dental, etc. with their taxes.

Where is the justice in that?

I have never been in jail so i don't know how mentally draining it will be, but to be locked up in a cell for most of the day alone probably pays for itself when it comes to the suffering they must endure.
Jail in Norway is probably to easy, but i can not support death penalty

I've never been in prison either. But I know people that have been. Free room/board, free medical, free dental, free food, etc and most aren't locked in a cell all day alone. They have recreation time which includes basketball, weight lifting, handball, cable TV, etc.

All that paid for by tax payers, which include friends and family of the victim helps pay for all that free stuff they get.

Where is the justice
How can it be justice to require someone else lose a loved one and go through the same pain? Executions cost more, they don't work as a detterent, it solves and ammends nothing that a life sentence can't, and it makes those who want it no different than a murderer. They are in prison for years, some for the rest of their life. They can't kill again, they have lost their freedoms and liberties, they are being punished.

Yes they have to much Luxus in prison today i agree, but killing them? Then we are just the same as them. and it would a circle never stoping, because who should kill the man/woman who was in charge of the execution? they are murderers too so in your theory they must die too

Really? You think no one gets killed/murdered in prison. You are too naive.

By your logic, many military personal are murder's, many police are murders.

IMO that's sad that you think someone who's job is protecting people and who kills while saving the lives of others is a murder.

What happens to a dog that attacks/kills someone? They are killed/put down.

What happens to a bear or cougar that attacks/kills someone? They are tracked down and killed/put down.

Humans are nothing more than just another animal on this planet. If the animal has killed or gone rabid, put it down.

I too prefer jail.
The death penalty doesn't allow for correcting mistakes.
What's weird to me is that it seems I spend 50% of my time agreeing with you and 50% of my time thinking you're 100% wrong. This is one of those on the 'agree' side of the ledger.

‘Norwegian police said Sunday that a shooting at a mosque near Oslo is being treated as an "attempted act of terror" and that the suspected gunman harbours far-right, anti-immigrant views.

The suspect entered the mosque in the affluent Oslo suburb of Baerum on Saturday armed with multiple weapons and opened fire before being overpowered by a 65-year-old man who suffered minor injuries.

Hours after the attack, the body of a young woman was found in a home in Baerum and police on Sunday confirmed that it was the suspect's 17-year-old stepsister. Investigators launched a murder investigation into the death.’

So sad that hate has to rear its ugly head in such a horrible manner.

Yeah, but we are responsible for our choices. Animals tend to run on instinct far more than we do.

I do not see humans as animals

Did I say they don't?

You said "They are in prison for years, some for the rest of their life. They can't kill again".

Evidently people in prison can kill people if they choose too because people are murdered in prison.
Ask Jeffery Dahmer, oops you can't because he was murdered in prison.

In reality any animal is responsible for its choices. It just wasn't taught any different, instinct as you said.

Responsible; being the primary cause of something and so able to be blamed or credited for it.
