I think from what I'm seeing on TV that practically speaking it is down to Hillary and Trump. For those who are interested in this discussion what are you going to do about it come November?

the supreme court nominations alone justify voting for her.

True that. She won't do much about wealth inequality, which I see as the biggest issue of the day, but at least her nominations to the Court won't be absolute disasters.

My thoughts as well. I support the overarching Democratic platform even if I am not a fan of Hillary. In this regard, gotta think long term. Snagging a justice is worth putting up with her for a few years in hopes she gets nudged off later.

I take it you're a Sanders supporter? If so, what do you like best about him?
I like his ideas. They are hopelessly optimistic (much like Obama 1.0) but I like them. He genuinely seems to want to do something good for the folks supporting him.

Do you see wealth inequality as a major issue?

I do and Trump is a perfect example as to why. He has little to no political experience. Before 9 months ago he couldn't have run for county treasurer but because of his esteemed fame and seamlessly endless bank account he is now the front runner of the Republican primaries and one breath away from one of the most powerful political offices in the world. In a movie or book this would be satire but here we are...

If Sanders doesn't get nominated I won't be voting. This will be the first election I'd get to vote in but I'd be happy to sit it out and watch the circus from afar if it comes down to those two.

I like Sanders because he's the closest candidate there is to my political affiliation. Sure, I'm not a socialist but Hillary and Trump are so much farther from my ideology. Also Sanders seems to legitimately care, he has good morals.
