This question to Muslims
The reason for my writing to the subject is the following incident
Muslims living outside the Islamic countries
But they have faith in the details
I am now in the non-Muslim country
But I am at work I got to know some Muslims
We and our ethics, we offer eating to friends
And we share in this
Muslim gave me a piece of eating, one of the pastry
He accepted participation and ate with him and thanked him for it
A few days later I brought food from home, a pastry on the way in which the Iraqi meat
It submitted a piece to that Muslim
It was delicious
But after a quarter of an hour he came running and told me
Are you a Christian I told him yes
Here's my Is Atamtna pork ??
I told him
(What is the problem is we are in a Muslim country) Why are you afraid?
I told him politely and respect
I take your sin doomsday
Surprised by Muslims reject pork ??
And eat camel meat ??
Just a question

Firstly who cares if they eat camel? Animals considered food differ country to country. Here in Australia Kangaroo meat is sold in the supermarkets.
Secondly, you offered a Muslim who you know does not eat pork for religious reasons pork to eat? That's just plain rude. You may as well offer beef to a Hindu or non Kosher meat to a Jewish person.
It's called common courtesy, mate. Try it sometime. Geez.

To be honest, I cannot take the story you said seriously. It gives the impression you meant he returned the food to you just because you are Christian, as if you're blaming him for religious discrimination.

I'm not calling you a liar, God forbid, but your English gives that only impression to me.

If this is another thread to bash Islam and Muslims, then may God forgive you and guide you. Again, your words say so (the second half of the OP), I'm not coming up with it.

Did you consider having the food you gave within the specifications the Muslims follow? If I offer something to a non Muslims, I'd consider their feelings and follow what fits their preferences. If by chance I fail to do that and give them something wrong and they come back to me, I'd apologize to them explaining it was a mistake.

But the thing is, if I were the Muslim you gave the food to and it was against my beliefs, I wouldn't bring it back to you, regardless to the intentions you may have had when you gave it to me, as it would be rude from me refuse a giving. I would have given it to someone else for example. Then I'd find a way to convey a message that I am a Muslim.

To be honest, you're giving me the impression you are lacking common sense in social interactions.

My sister's husband is Muslim. The only thing the does that's Isamic is refraining from eating pork. I question him all the time as to why he doesn't eat it, and he doesn't have a good answer. It's just something that he does. It doesn't make sense to me and seems inconsistent, but there are probably things that I do which aren't consistent with my worldview, so who cares?

People can eat whatever they want and not eat whatever they don't want...

This is the mentality and culture of the Muslim
It holds the remains of his religion disease
Surprised by Muslims reject pork ??
And eat camel meat ??
They murdered and massacred the name of God
But with pork are not friends ??
Just a question

"Allah" is talking in spiritual, internal parable dark sayings of old metaphors. It's never been about what one eats, it's about what one "thinks."

The lower mind, or lower self is symbolic for a pig because it likes to roll around in the mud. Likes to dabble with worldy, lower-ego driven thoughts, emotions, and desires.

A Jewish rabbi and a Catholic priest were friends having lunch together. The Catholic priest chided his rabbi friend, "Rabbi, when are you going to come to your sense and enjoy a nice ham sandwich with me?". His rabbi friend looked at him and smiled, "At your wedding father, at your wedding". :)

At a Sikh langar, all the food is vegetarian; not because the Sikhs have to be, so so that people of any other religion can eat there with out being offended. That strikes me as a very civilised custom.

As for Muslims, they will say they don't eat pork because God told them not to. Outsiders will say that Muhammad was just copying the Jews, whose god he accepted. Similarly the Jews will say it's in God's law, while outsiders will say that law was introduced by Hilkiah and later enforced by Ezra to prevent the Israelites from being adsorbed by their neighbours.

Personally, I say be a Pagan and eat anything that doesn't eat you first!

I quite like the Sikh Langar customs. Really reinforces the stereotype of Sikhs being really respectful and courteous people. And they're pretty chill people to hang out with.

LOL! Sage advice indeed. :p

I know these kind of people. I think that muslims have a strong that sees pork as something unclean/disgusting. Taste is something, you have to learn. The fathers of western muslims, who don't eat pork lived in muslim countries, where there simply is none. So generation after generation did not develope that pork tastes good. So their children can't enjoy it either. So not only the fact that it is forbidden, makes muslims not eat pork, but also tradition/taste.
Other islamic rules are not as much followed. Alcohol makes everybody drunk, so muslims have a reason to drink for example.

This question to Muslims....Surprised by Muslims reject pork ??....Just a question
Peace be on you.
1=Hazrat Jesus (on whom be peace) did not declare pork was clean. As a devout Jew, he did not made pork lawful.

2=Here is the reason for pork/swine prohibition:

"" Why is the Flesh of Swine Prohibited

One matter to be kept in mind in this context is that in the very name of this animal, God has indicated the reason for the prohibition of its flesh. The Arabic word for swine is Khinzir which is a compound of Khanz and Ara, which means: I see it very foul. Thus the very name that God Almighty gave to this animal at the beginning points to its uncleanness. It is a curious coincidence that in Hindi this animal is called Su’ar, which is a compound of Su’ and Ara. This also means: I see it very foul. It should not be a matter of surprise that the Arabic word Su

should have found its way into Hindi. We have established in our book Minanur-Rahman, that Arabic is the mother of all languages and that many Arabic words are to be found in all languages. Thus Su’ is an Arabic word and its equivalent in Hindi is bad. This animal is also called bad in Hindi. There is no doubt that at the time when Arabic was the universal language this animal was known in this country by an Arabic name which was synonymous with Khinzir, and so it has continued to this day. It is possible that in Sanskrit this word might have undergone some transformation, but the true word is Khinzir which proclaims its own meaning. It is not necessary to enter into a detailed exposition of the foulness of this animal. Everyone knows that it eats filth and is utterly shameless. Thus the reason for the prohibition of its flesh is obvious, as by the law of nature its flesh would have a foul effect on the body and the soul of one who eats it. As we have already demonstrated food affects a person’s soul and there can be no doubt that the flesh of such a foul animal would also be foul. Even in pre-Islamic times, Greek physicians had opined that the flesh of this animal particularly damages the faculty of modesty and fosters shamelessness. The eating of carrion is also prohibited in Islamic law for the same reason; that is

to say, it affects the moral qualities adversely and is also harmful to physical health. The blood of an animal that is strangled or is beaten to death remains inside the body of the dead animal and they are all carrion. It is obvious that the blood of such an animal is soon corrupted and corrupts the whole flesh. It is established by recent research that the germs in such blood spread a poisonous corruption in the flesh of the dead animal.””

You know, in Islam, it is just mentioned that it is forbidden to eat pork, with no explanation. It could also be a test of belief and honesty in following orders since people sometimes think they are alone and no one can see them. Part of true faith is believing that God can see us any time He wants.
