Obama does something I like?Obama Orders Phrase ‘Under God’ to be Banned on all Government Property
Really????
Freedom of religion? What did our founding fathers want?
Why did the pilgrims come to this land?
Freedom from religious persecution. NOT freedom from God.
Where are you getting this? Link?

Bold type isn't mine but a quote from the article.
F.W.I.W.
Is the article true? Don't know. Read and reach your own conclusions.
The only sites I saw from Google on this to "confirm" the above were from "questionable sources", and their postings were several years ago. IOW, it appears to be recycled right-wing propaganda.Obama Orders Phrase ‘Under God’ to be Banned on all Government Property

I have a better test for legitimacy than Snopes.I checked and snopes says it IS false.
So who does one believe on the internet?
Or in the newspapers, t-v, radio...................................????
All the above have political leanings.
Snopes isn't anymore reliable than any other news source with a political bent.
Snopes is notoriously liberal.
Snopes receives funding from an undisclosed source. The source is undisclosed because Snopes refuses to disclose that source. The Democratic Alliance, a funding channel for uber-Leftist (Marxist) Billionaires (George Soros etc.), direct funds to an "Internet Propaganda Arm" pushing these views. The Democratic Alliance has been reported to instruct Fundees to not disclose their funding source.
The Snopes site claims it receives nothing from anyone.
ReallY?
Still makes for an exciting thread, eh?@Revoltinest:
Et. al.
I agree 100%
IF it were true the news, no matter the political bent would be ALL OVER
such a story.
Internet = who knows the truth without checking?
Extraordinary claims DEMAND extraordinary proof.
When I was in college, not THAT long ago information from the net was
prohibited for research papers.
Really. When I was in college electricity and flush toilets were common.
And liberal media sources aren't biased?????????????????????????????Let's try to stick to only credible sources people. We all know what conservative media does.
If he did this, I'd be in favor of it.
Personally, as a devout atheist, *giggles*, I don't see why it matters if "Under god" is on stuff. Who cares? Bigger fish... always bigger fish...Let's try to stick to only credible sources people. We all know what conservative media does.

Silly mouse!Personally, as a devout atheist, *giggles*, I don't see why it matters if "Under god" is on stuff. Who cares? Bigger fish... always bigger fish...
But there's quite a difference between citing opinions versus out and out lying.ALL SOURCES are questionable.
Who "funds" these sources? Who runs these sources?
All have an agenda.
