Obama's betrayal of liberalism

Hmmm....once again, instead of a reasoned response, I get excuses for the lack thereof.

Look, don't try to be sly. You know you never supported your claim Palin was smart, and you further know that claims backed by no evidence may be dismissed without evidence. So don't try to be sly here and make a claim you can't support but demand that I go out of my way to provide evidence to refute it. I'm not going to refute it. I'm just going to dismiss it.

Let's observe Kai's request for making it less personal. Re-read my posts Obama's
& Palin's relative smarts, & all your misunderstandings will vanish. I'll likely
be back posting again on Sunday if you have any quesitons.

OK. Can you see that you still have not backed up your claim about their relative smarts? And that so long as you put forward no evidence for your claim, I need put forward no evidence in dismissing it? I mean, fair is fair.

You needn't do anything for me.

But didn't you see this evidence? He and Rick provided it. Apparently stuttering means you're an idiot, and is as bad as or worse than saying things like "I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out" referring to a department that doesn't exist while attempting to explain why as president she wouldn't be subjected to the same ethics investigations that compelled her to resign as governor of Alaska. Apparently, saying "uh" a few times is the equivalent of being an airhead who has to write down "Energy, Tax cuts and Lift American spirits" on her hand and refer to them in a question-and-answer session because those pieces of empty, meaningless rhetoric are hard to remember.

Hey, Rick, are you going to respond to my posts, or just ignore them? I mean, you weren't actually serious, were you?

I'm not ignoring you Matt, I was busy this weekend.

Was I serious you ask? I spit coffee out my nose when I watched Obama say he was a Muslim, so no, I rarely spit coffee when I am serious.

I posted these things after you gave me a flippant response about Sarah losing the election for V.P.

If play time is over, perhaps you could site something positive about Sarah Palin or admit you are blinded by bias.

Just so we are straight about this, my position on Obama is he is an intelligent man with very little experience running anything. It was my hope that he would grow into his job.

As far as Sarah Palin is concerned, she is not my first, second or even third choice for the Republican nomination for obvious reasons. The fact that you cannot say one thing good about her is telling if you decide to get serious about this discussion.

I'm cool with you admitting your bias about her, IMHO it would be the honest thing to do.

There isn't a lot positive about Sarah Palin that reached the mainstream media. I don't think it is fair to see that as evidence of bias.

If anything, it goes on to show how reliant on bias her supporters are.

Thats a good point Luis, but that is deflecting and not addressing the issue.

Can you in good conscience say there is absolutely nothing good about her at all?

As a politician, you mean? Yes, I certainly am not aware of any real, desirable, respectable qualities of Sarah Palin as a politician.

How does that relate to any perceived bias, however? You might perhaps use that as evidence that the media as biased, I guess. But then again, her supporters have just as hard a time showing those qualities, be it face to face or in the media, so I don't think you have an argument to present here.

OK, so you weren't serious that the stuff you posted makes Obama an idiot without a teleprompter?

If play time is over, perhaps you could site something positive about Sarah Palin or admit you are blinded by bias.

So, the only two options I have are to say something good about Palin or admit being blinded by bias? Again, I have to ask, are you serious? I don't have anything good to say about Palin and I'm not blinded by bias. There are other conservatives I could say good things about, but Palin is just a moron.

That's good to hear.

Not all political candidates have good qualities. I don't have to be biased to not say anything good about Palin. The fact is Palin is a moron. She relies on empty rhetoric and stupid catch phrases, and appealing to the people who respond to such things and to meaningless phrases like "real Americans". At least before McCain went bat**** crazy, he had some good ideas and was intelligent. Palin is not smart, isn't a good public speaker, and doesn't have a grasp on politics any more than my 10-year-old niece. Beyond that, she quit her position as governor so that she could go make money with her "real America" BS, and that's the worst thing of all.

Maybe you could tell me things about her that you find good (other than the fact that she ****** liberals off ;)), and maybe I can agree on one of the points.
