Well I will say..Im white as a sheet.(I avoid the sun cuz Im so white I look like a cooked lobster or a tomato when exposed and it HURTS).
But Im not "myopic".I just burn instead of get a tan.

It's true. The skin is a very big organ of our bodies. Without it, all of our innards would sort of fall apart. The tone of it comes from our ancestry. In terrible hot areas, the skin would have adapted to be darker, while in cooler areas, it would be lighter. I know that all the darker people: Australian aborigines, South American Indians, Africans are in continents that are below the equator. Lighter folks come from Cold, above the equator, in Northern Europe and in Northern Asia. The countries in between they are not as light as the North and not as dark as the South- but in between.
