I have seen constitutional experts argue this both ways. But it is at best at technicality. Either he is impeached or he will be impeached as soon as the papers are delivered. Either way the history books will record that Donald Trump was the third President to be impeached.

I think it's the latter, he will be impeached soon. Somewhere it was saying he was trying to get re-elected again; but, I'm not sure how that will turn out. I honestly just think no one liked him to begin with so getting him on technicality is a lucky prayer.

In case you do not follow U.S. politics the Republican leadership openly stated that there would not be a fair trial. Holding it back may cause them to change their mind. Most here know that that act of dishonesty is why the Democrats have not delivered the impeachment to the Senate yet.
