Pain

We Never Know

No Slack
I feel like I'm always in pain. Something. Somewhere.

Today, aside from female biological processes that cause pain in the lower back and abdomen, I have a splinter in my right heel that I'll have to dig out today, a giant bruise/scrape on my right hip from running into a doorknob at high speed, and my right knee is swollen from trying to climb over the clawfoot bathtub to see if the cat was hiding in the window(he was). I seem to have ongoing problems with my left heel(and overall feet in general) and right hip, but happily, they're not present this morning.

I'm just curious, how often do the rest of you get bumped up, or have other aches and pains?
After eight surgery's and for the past 7 years after my last MRI being told I need three vertibrea replaced in my neck and two replaced in my lower back,,, pain is just a normal part of life for me.
They(my neurologist and primary Dr) keep pushing me to get a new MRI and I keep saying why, it won't fix anything.

I'm curious on the pains you didn't know you could have...
There's this area between my upper calves and knees that occasionally throbs and aches. Docs can't figure it out. I've heard of a few off-road bikers, especially older ones, complain about something similar. It's not usual aches even athletes would have. I've only taken Ibuprofen a few times for it. That seems to knock it out. It's something to do with the tendons or ligaments but it feels like it's in the bone.

I can see why you'd say forget it at this point.

The surgeries were on my right hand x2, my right wrist, my right elbow x2, my right shoulder, my right knee, my abdomen(a piece of mesh dinner plate size). I haven't let them at my neck and back because the others didnt really help.

I told them as long as I can walk and function, I'm done with surgeries. When I can't walk and function any more, cut away lol.
