Palestinians under attack

Why don't all the billionaires in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Kuwait, UAE, etc, etc do something to help make life better for the people in Gaza?

That is actually a good point. Gaza is like a hellhole and very impoverished. Why don't those oil-rich people in the Gulf states do something to help their suffering brothers and sisters? The ones in power in Saudi Arabia just seem content to be rich and fat and promote violent jihad all around the world by spreading Wahhabism.

Maybe the problem is that the Quran is a medieval document long left in the dust.

Modern people would be better off viewing the Quran as a beautiful antique and putting It on a shelf in storage, then rolling up their sleeves and getting something done.

And as a citizen of a country that recently blew the crap out of the Cradle of Civilization, perhaps you should stifle your bigoted generalizations.
Did you read my post about doing everything I could to prevent the invasion of Iraq?

I hate war and I don't much care what justification people give for it. I'm a pretty hard core pro-lifer.

What country are you a citizen of, and what did you do to stop that particular crime against humanity?

Because they don't care.

They are just pawns for their goal to destroy Israel and all the jews with it.

I think the fat arab billionaires are supporting ISIS and I believe Hamas is supported by Iran so they're probably happy watching this.

I expect Israel to go into Gaza with quite a bit of strength in a long-term operation, and frankly I feel it's far due, as much as I detest war. The reason I think as such should be pretty obvious to those who have been keeping close touch with developments over in that region for years now, namely that Hamas and Hezbollah have armed themselves to the teeth (it's believed that Hamas alone has roughly 10,000 missiles), and they have made it abundantly clear that they are intent on destroying Israel.

What makes it more likely this time that Israel may not stop is that Hamas' missiles have gone further into Israel, reaching areas around Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa. If we project maybe five or ten years from now, their missiles are likely to get bigger and more accurate.

As far as I'm concerned, you gotta do what you gotta do to protect your citizens. Would any other country do any different? It's too bad as it's innocent civilians that typically pay the highest price.

So do I. And I am sure they will handily beat Hamas.

But Hamas will be replaced by another group who will have learned from Hamas' mistakes.

I don't think it's going to be that easy as Gaza is the most condensed region per square mile on Earth. To me, it's the question as to whether the IDF will simply try to seriously downgrade Hamas offenses or will they actually try and remove Hamas. Frankly, I hope it's the latter or we'll be right back here again in a few years or less discussing much the same.

BTW, did you or anyone notice that the author of the OP jumped on Israel, and yet where was he with the atrocities in Syria, Iraq, etc.? Seems to have very selective rants.

The question I asked several posts ago was: "If you get rid of Hamas what will replace it?"

Jayhawker didn't have an answer. Do you?

Tom, it doesn't really matter what replaces the Hamas. Israel will deal with that incarnation of delusion if and when it appears.
