If Hamas took over a jewish city they would murder all the jews. There would be no jews left to have a human shield with.

You could accuse your enemy of using civilians as human shields if the presence of civilians prevented you from engaging with them.

If the presence of civilians is not sufficient to stop you from engaging with the enemy, then the civilians are civilian casualties, not human shields.

Also, the enemy themselves state that they use their own civilians as human shields.

However, Israel has to still do what they need to in order to protect their own civilians as any country would.

The only thing Israel can do to protect it's citizens is make peace. War with the Arab world can not be won in the long term. That you actually beleive that you are 'forced to kill their children' proves that hope for Israel is lost.

Yes and Israel has been in conflict with it's neighbours since 48, so clearly winning does not actually make Israel safer. A pyrrhic victory is no victory at all.

Don't get me wrong, I want peace in the middle east and a prosperous and equitable Israel. The problem is that a military approach can only lead to further radicalisation. Ultimately a political solution is the only solution.
