Peace to all,
To me in logic, Baptism and Penance are the Sacraments from death to life.
Penance is death to life for the soul, Baptism is death to life for the flesh. In logic and through faith, Through Baptism, we become transformed immortal and incorruptible from the living waters of Baptism from mortal and corrupt from the spirit through the flesh for the Soul of the being. Through the logic of the faith Jesus was conceived through the Immaculate Conception in the Virgin Birth, becoming immortal and incorruptible, sanctified in both spirit and flesh. His birth did not require the normal blood and water birth because His Soul pre-existed. It is through the logic of the blood and water birth that created the soul. Jesus logically had to be Baptized for His immortal and incourruptible flesh and spirit to be able to die and descend and resurrect, glorified and transfigured becoming the first born back to Heaven as the Spotless Lamb of God, reborn, to reopen the gates of Heaven for all mankind. His birth is from transformed immortal and incorruptible becoming glorified and transfigured, His birth back to Heaven, did require the blood and water and flowed from the Cross, His birth for His soul, flesh and spirit back to Heaven, where the blood and water flowed for the "Firstborn of Creation" becoming the death and resurrection to life for all mankind.
Peace always,
Stephen
