Ohhhh...Sustainer is OK...some of his ideas have got me thinking.
I'm too old to pursue, but the gold/lithium cyanide/prussite combos show promise.
There's a possible limit on the size of the product, but somewhat doable.
Nowadays one can hold one thousands of farads in one's hand,
20 years ago it would weigh 500 pounds. I say...go for it !!
It's the space adventure into future time that frosts me up !
The going and returning and crap like that, just a lot of empty shells,
and not the seashells that I'm listening to, but the `nuts` that are lost at sea.

High energy entropy is always attracted to the lower state entropy. Space-time will curve towards the mass and the water will naturally gain expansion even if only a fraction . This then will produce a minuscule amount of electricity in the materials. The water will absorb some of the energy which will then increase the energy in the water increasing the expansion creating more charge, etc etc.

Now, ask yourself why this hasn't already been done...

Oscillations in the MHz range would be required to generate modest power The process you describe is an oscillation driven by the volume kinetics of water locked in a cube driven by heat energy. These oscillations are extremely slow and would produce a miniscule amount of power. It is not a perpetual machine, it is in fact a very inefficient heat engine, much more energy goes in than comes out.
Using the same temperature differential you would get much more usable power using a nitinol paddle arrangement in hot and old water, but they will all follow the laws of thermodynamics and the Carnot work algorithms.
