Ok, how is it rational? Atheism is the lack of belief. Theism is filled with belief, backed by......belief. So, you have to defend why you believe. So, go for it.

You are what the Latter-day Saints call a Laman and/or Lemuel. You see the miracles, you feel the Spirit, yet, you still won't believe.

Exactly, there is no logical reason to believe in God. Logic is reason. It is irrational to believe in God.

This thread is about a petition against the Christian God. What is the petition for? It's so the Christian God will give anybody who is or becomes Christian superpowers, like he gave to Moses and Jesus. Are you pro-superpowers? Show your support.

Technically, wouldn't he be the Jewish God when he gave Moses 'superpowers'? And Jesus, if you wanted to get into semantics...

Well, Christians believe in Moses too... and Jews don't believe Jesus was the son of God. That's one of the reasons why they killed him.

I think you are infering something you can't say for sure...unless you can tell me there is not one Jewish person who doesn't believe that Jesus is the Son of God. As for the Jews involved in Jesus dying on the cross...this was His assigned duty...do you think God did not know that the things that transpired wouldn't?...Jesus was the true and final unblemished lamb sacrifice. Lots of people blame the Jews...some should think before they speak.

I used to be Mormon. I know I'm a heathen in your mind. I'm a lost soul who just needs guidance. That's bull. I've just decided to use my brain. Even if God does exist, he would have to be intelligent, right? How intelligent would it be for somebody to ask somebody else who only has logic to go by to believe in him? It's impossible for me to believe and still be honest with myself.

I doubt you were. Do you even know anything? No offense, but there are some Jews who do beleive in Jesus, they do not believe He was divine, but many admit He existed, as do the Muslims, they believe He was one prophet in a line of prophets.

You obviusly haven't done much research into the other religions. Do you know how many sects of Judiasm there actually is? You haven't talked to every Jew, so you would not know that.

And yes, I was Mormon. I was a Deacon at 12. A priest at 16. 17 I left the church.I was a sunbeam when i was a little innocent kid being brainwashed by the church. I even had class with my bishop. Have you ever even looked at any books about Mormanism outside of Mormanism? I know they tell you not to. Do you know why? Because you will find out things that will show you how rediculous it is to believe in God, especially through Mormanism.
