Yes, just one of MANY, almost infinite contradictions in the Christian belief.ashai said:Ushta All
Hmm! Its not a bad question. Abrahamic faiths , specially Christianity and Islam, dwell on miracles. My question would be a little different. If a miracle is supernatural, that is, if it breaks natural laws , would not that place in question the ethical nature of the Abrahamic God? Follow me for one sec before you close your mind. If God established/created all things, He established natural laws, right? So why break that which He established? And if He does, then why would not He also break other things He has established, supposely, like his covenants?
More over, and this applies more directly to this poll, if God does do miracles involving the breaking of natural lwas, then, would not he if he is love, just, fair and the god of all, do these miracles for every one? I mean why heal this blind man and not that one? Why this sick person and not that other one?
In fact, since the NT claims that he shows no favoritism, is this not a contradiction, and if it isn't then what is it?
Answers any one?

yes because crucifiction was a jewish customaustheist said:Well, Christians believe in Moses too... and Jews don't believe Jesus was the son of God. That's one of the reasons why they killed him.
An interesting reaction. My first instinct was to feel the same way, but then I thought about this more.fromthe heart said:This is a rediculous question but I guess you CAN ask it...personally I do not feel many are worthy of the honor of special powers given by God such as those given to Moses...seeing that Jesus IS God there is no way we could ever be put in that category...we can only strive to be more like Christ. Jesus did bestoy powers on some in the days He walked on earth...I still feel He still does but when He does it won't be something you'll hear much about because when things Glorify God it's not very news worthy.
