The dyke can withstand floods of 7 meters above normal, the dunes are 20 meters high. The last time sea water was in the town was before I was born (and before the current dyke was built). We are good for at least a few decades.That is so cool! But is there a concern there with possible flooding, especially in light of climate change? It looks to be mere feet (or meters) above sea level.
