Hopefully we won't be 100% identical, though. Just today I got reminded the stylesheet could use a rule to prevent big pictures from breaking through the site layout.

My dream upgrade would be a small (maybe 10k volts) sent to any poster who cut/pastes the same wall of text three times in the same thread. Can you make my dream come true?

Images won't break the layout in new software :) Javascript automatically resizes them to fit perfectly inside post. Clicking the image will make the full size.

Oh hey. This might be too big a request, but could you consider installing a chat software on the server as well, preferably one that integrates the forum permissions with the chat permissions. We've had an unofficial chatroom for several years with a lot of different volunteers hosting it in turn. It's pretty telling that the http://www.religiousforums.com/forum/member-announcements/62684-chat-chat-chat-fun-times.html thread is over 4000 messages long. It would be nice if we chatters were finally officially accepted into the fold. :D

Can we get some software that will help me sound less moronic?
Actually, they're already using the best in the business.
Haven't you noticed how intelligent we both sound compared to THC?

(Yes, we was even worser before.)

I'm assuming/hoping/praying/begging things will work smoother for the few of us with android phones?

Will we be able to see who has us on "Ignore" so we won't be wasting our time replying to them?

It would also be nice if we were somehow alerted to posts that recently quote us. Another site had this feature and it was pretty convenient

Oh yes, please extend the time we have in which to correct a recent post before the "Last edited by Skwim; 10-21-2014 at 12:51 PM.." message pops up at the bottom. I sometimes don't get it right, right away.

I think that's it, and thanks for your effort here.

With that said, I will keep a list of things that will not be making the move to the new system:

1) Social Groups
2)

A.) So groups like the Eros Room, Rainbow Room, Theists Only, Non-Theists, etc., will not be moving over?

B.) What's #2? The suspense is killing me! :faint:

Are we going to regain any of the features the last owner pulled the plug on?
Is the dumb spider that inserts keywords that the thread isn't about still going to be around?
Will member financial support be accepted again, or will financing still fall entirely on advertisement?
Who will be held responsible for any RF withdrawal related incidents during the down time? I was really freakin' out last night, man. It wasn't cool. I couldn't get my fix.

Social Groups are different from the user groups. The Social Groups page is so hard to use no one practically uses it, which is probably why they're being removed. I kind of like the idea of user created groups, but at a bare minimum you should at least see when new posts come in there instead of separately opening every single group page.

There are alot of groups I didn't realize we had.

This is terrible people.

Here we have a nice guy come on line telling us about the changes ahead for RF, and even allows us the opportunity to ask questions about it, and what do we do? We carry on as if this was the "Games / Pics / Jokes / Stories" sub forum and banter back and forth like school children.

Let's get a grip on ourselves and for once keep a good thread on track.
