If you intend this for open debate you should consider listing your beliefs. If you want to debate me, specifically, there is a one on one section. Personally I prefer open debate all the time, keeps ideas flowing. Either way I'll be back in the morning!

I do not believe there is evidence for a personal god.

I do not believe that faith is a reliable means of gaining information or insight.

I believe the universe is made solely of energy.

I believe the universe is eternal.

I believe that human morality is innate in most human beings.

Is that a good starting point?

1- The Vedas, upanishads and other important scriptures
2- Faith leads to truth. It is used to wash away the illusion in our lives. The inexperienced can misplace it so a teacher (guru) is neccessary
3- Yes...that's true, but this energy is Brahman (God)
4- No it's not. All things material have an end. The universe is no exception. It was born, so it must die. Brahman is not these things. He was never born, and he will never died. He always is.
5- I agree. Humans are naturally good.
Any more questions?

The universe needs a creator. The universe was created, so there must be a creator. Don't think of a universe popping into existence by some 'magic'. Do you believe in the big bang theory?

Not a challenge, just my thoughts.

I do not believe that faith is a reliable means of gaining information or insight.
Nor do I. However, it could be starting point for any seeker of truth/god.

I believe the universe is made solely of energy.
What else could it be?

I believe the universe is eternal.
I do believe that existence is eternal.

I believe that human morality is innate in most human beings.
So do I. It gets buried under loads of learned concepts.

To 2, 3, 4, and 5 I agree with you. The thing about me is I'm Semi-Religious. I am far from an extremist but my Religion is not a hobby either. I understand that Religion was created a long time ago and they got things right and got things wrong.

Come on. All things material have a lifespan. Even the stars. Like i said, what makes the universe eternal?

Whatever has a beginning will always have an end. I do not recall who said that and my wi-fi is sluggish so I will not look it up now.
