I went with a tiny cactus, because bears don't eat light bulbs.

Bees? sounded uncertain, so I thought it might be a misleading choice put there to fill out the fifth option.

Remember, this is important because it's a real question.
Since you say that it is very important, and it is a question, I had no choice then but to choose “bees?”, because it was the only choice that was in the form of a question.

Bees, I thought, are the Bellwether - the canary in the mine. If the bees disappear, it's all over for us, so best keep them happy by planting lots of wild flower meadows.

Pretty much exactly my thoughts. Glad to see there is at least one sane person here.

I chose bees with a ? mark.

You can't have a tiny cactus without the bees.

Oreo filling is good regardless of color so that choice is irrelevant.

The squirrel's chirps are unimportant and I do not hear their chirps.

I don't need no stinking goats.

Despite my political differences with the bees, they have a refined society made up largely of females and governed by them. Males have one job. It is a good job. Bees have an incredible work ethic, but they take time out to dance. They are great communicators. Not only are they able to convey information, they hold up both ends of the dynamic by being great listeners.

Bees are very family oriented, but they leave other bee families unmolested to exist as they choose. Their societies being largely made up of sisters, they maintain this genetic solidarity in support of their needs and the needs of the family. It is a little too communist for vertebrates, but it works for bees. They aren't defenseless, but they do not shake their sabers unless they are attacked.

They love flowers.

They make honey. How sweet is that.

It is bees all the way. No question.

I still say it is bees. They just give me a swarm feeling inside.

Swarm and buzzy.

Bees are the only thing on the list that we could not do without.

Only those in North America would know what Oreos are.
The thought of American frosting leaves me ready to puke.
It is the most disgusting stuff that I have ever tasted.

English soft icing is not much better, Royal icing is passable.
