Thankyou, FFH, i appreciate your response and look forward to the rest later.
Sorry, got distracted with some other threads, but this is a topic I think worth investigating more deeply.
Will we procreate the same way in heaven/afterlife ???
This is a huge question that deserves our attention.
My wife and I were promised children in sacred blessings given to us, yet she is 46 and I am 41 and It is safe to say we will never have children in this life.
However for our blessings to be fulfilled there must be the possiblilty of having and raising children in the next life/heaven or during the 1,000 year reign of Christ, when all pain and sorrow will cease.
Can you imagine that, no pain during childbirth ???
I tell my wife wouldn't you rather wait until the Millenium (1,000 year reign of Chirst on earth) anyway, to raise our family, when things will be much safer and secure, at a time when all will know the Lord.
We will continue to raise children in the Millenium, just as we have been doing and when that child reaches adulthood he/she will live, without getting old/aging, until he/she reaches the age of 120 years, at which time he/she will move into the next life without dying/experiencing death.
Heavy stuff I know, but it's all scripturally sound doctine.
Will we continue to have and raise children in this next phase of our lives, assuming we live during the Millenium ??? Yes, absolutely and I will cite scripture to back this up.
Why then would we not assume the same to be true when we move onto the next phase of our existence with God the Father ???
It stands to reason that we will do the same in heaven where the Father
and the Son dwell, although there is the arguement that we may only create spirit children, which we will send to another created earth similar to ours, just as our Father in heaven has done.
The same process occurs on other worlds. Spirits are born, tested, as to their trustworthiness or faithfulness to God's principles of righteousness, and then die, just as we see happening now on this earth.
