Should pornography be bannes? If so, is it because or partially because it exploits women?

Uhm, you do know of one woman who is into this. ;)

When it's the right guy and you can finally be yourself and let go of inhibitions, it's amazing what you find you're into and the fun things that you can do to drive each other nuts.

Sorry, I don't consider this an unusual "kink". But, to each their own.

Nobody ever thinks their own unusual kink is unusual.

I also don't think it's "inhibited" not to see the point of having somebody ejaculate on your face. I asked my hubby and he doesn't see the point of it either. No guy I've ever been with has expressed a desire to come on my face. That's a large sample group too.

There's nothing wrong with having an unusual kink, though. :)

Probably not, although I consider the idea that many women would pursue porn as an art form and take a pay cut to do it rather fanciful.

Porn is rarely a pay cut. Many who go into porn temporarily to make ends meet find that going back to their day job is a pay cut.

My comment on inhibition was about myself, only.

I find it odd that your sample group is the authority on what's common and "unusual" sexual practice. But, whatever. I appreciate you clueing me in that my tastes are rather unusual.

The whole world is everybody's sample group. Do you have a lot of friends with that kink? Have you ever seen it mentioned in trashy women's magazines? Read it in female-centred erotica? Seen it in porn produced by and for women?

I'm not trying to insult you. I think it's absolutely fine to have an unusual kink, and awesome to find a partner who is as keen to indulge in it as you are.

Yes, I'm with you on the fact that the whole world is everybody's sample group, but, I'm not really interested in labels provided by your personal circle of friends.

And I can't answer your question, because there are few friends that I've talked to about this sort of thing.

I have no need for trashy women's magazines and porn isn't my thing. I think most of it looks stupid. What I can conjure and do on my own is far more interesting to me than what you could write for me or produce for me. I don't say this arrogantly. It's just truth.

As a woman who really enjoys just doing what feels right with her significant other, I just find it odd that others would find this so unusual. It's not like I said..."hey baby, you have to do this". We discovered it together. It's hot. We do it when the moment calls for it.

Maybe I am unusual. But, it's really not a bad place to be.

It's a pretty big circle, spanning three continents and two dozen cities. I've never in my life heard a female person express an interest in having her face ejaculated on. I've never seen a Cosmo article called "spice up your sex life by getting him to come on your face", and I've never seen a porno made by women for women that includes a "come in the face" shot.

I'm not saying nobody anywhere is into it, I'm just saying it's a very unusual kink, and I know girls who like whips. Hell, I know women who like to be peed on. I am in am erotica writers group. It just doesn't come up, so to speak.

So you don't think that it's the least bit arrogant and presumptuous to claim that you and your friends somehow represent the entire globe? Also, I find the notion that more women prefer to be urinated upon rather than ejaculated upon to be a little questionable.

No, I don't think it's arrogant or presumptuous. I've already said, there's nothing wrong with having an unusual kink. Enjoy yourself!

If you want to convince me it's mainstream, though, you'll have to find me the Cosmo article on how to make the most of your bukkake experience.

And I do know more people who are into pee than facials. That's just a fact. OTOH, two out of three were lesbians, so facials would not have been a factor. The other is my hubby's ex, and she didn't mention facials. She just really wanted them to pee on each other.

Do child slave laborers consent? No. Are child slave laborers adults? No.

Yes, they do consent. Often their families would starve without the meager income that work brings in.

I don't see what being an adult had to do with anything. The work is either exploitation or it isn't.

A child isn't mature or responsible enough to make informed consent, so it's always exploitation when children are involved.

I know there is nothing wrong with having an unusual kink. What I object to is the insistence that something is unusual solely because it falls outside of your own personal tastes. And again, buddy anecdotes aren't a valid representation of the whole population.

Btw, has there actually been a "Cosmo" article about being urinated on?

Probably.

Men watch porn because whether they admit it or not or whether its conscious or subconscious, they like to jerk off to the sexual subordination of women. It makes them feel good to see a woman dominated, put in her place, take it.

I like both her subordinatioand my subordination. There is a lot of room to play

I think this probably says more about you than every single man on the planet.

Couldnt have said it better. Truly sad though

I don't ccaaarrreee! It's a symbol of ownership that's what it is

So what? My ex long ago wanted to leave me a *dont know how the mark on ones neck after partner has sucked for long time is called* on my neck. She loved it and it was completely about ownership. I did the same to her.

I can criticise any woman hating depictions as I see fit, thanks!

Depictions cant hate, genius :p

The hate you see there most come from some leaving human being, not from the depictions.

Now I ll give you a clue on the source... It is always around you when you watch this depictions... And it is not the depictions...

Take your time ;)

pMost men just see women as sex objects,

Most men wouldnt be aroused by having sex with an inanimate woman. Also, most men do care about a womans consent.

I dont know about you, but I dont ask permission to my stuff before I use, and I am an animist.

Saying men see women as sex objects is simply wrong. To the very least, most men dont.

Clearly. It's only abuse or rape as long as someone notices it as such. So for, if someone has sex with a baby from day one, that's a perfectly innocent situation, since the baby doesn't know it could be any other way, until some meanie introduces the evil eye into it.

I think a better question might of been: "Is porn degrading to people?" (I said "people instead of "women" because I believe it can be degrading to both males and females plus I know it is doesn't always degrade people, too).

Yes, but people are more complicated than you seem to believe. Women don't always enjoy the same things. Men don't always enjoy the same things. You make it sound like all women are the same, and all men are the same. I think that's over simplifying things.

I'm not saying we enjoy the same things. I'm saying we live in a patriarchy, especially when it comes to sexuality and especially when it comes to porngraphy and even soft porn representations of women, which are often male centric and hierarchal.
I got into the goth aesthetic when I was about 13. I was exposed to the BDSM aesthetic through goth models and the sexualisation of death and submission. I was exposed to the suicide girls extra. These things influenced my sexual fantasies. I liked the idea of being treated like a pet and pulled around on a lead etc. porn influenced my submission even though I didn't even watch a lot of pornography and didn't particularly want to in my own space time, but was shown pornography by a friend when I would go to her house.
Even reading sexual advice Columns in women's magazines can be just as damaging. I read one with a woman who didn't like to swallow her boyfriends sperm because it's slimey and disgusting, but her boyfriend told her if she doesn't do she doesn't love him. Instead of the advice being that actually she is being emotionally blackmailed and abused into doing something she doesn't want to do and leave it as that. The advice was what he can eat to make his sperm taste nicer if she decides she does want to keep trying to swallow his disgusting slimey sperm.
So yes I personally know it is that simple. I know pornography is that simple. And I know cumming on a woman is not feminist. And I know sexuality is malecentric which influences how both men and women decide to have intercourse. And not only that but what women decide to endure from their sexual partners.
