Clearly a premeditated plan of assault on one of the most sacred days of the Christian religion! Hard to imagine the discussions around the decision that lead to this get-out-the-Trump-vote gaff!

President Joe Biden Declares Easter Sunday As Transgender Day Of Visibility, Donald Trump And Caitlyn Jenner Demand Apology To Christians

Story by Ariela Anís

President Joe Biden is sparking fury nationwide, including reactions from both Donald Trump and Caitlyn Jenner, after declaring Easter Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility, a day of awareness to celebrate the successes of transgender and gender-nonconforming people.........

Could of made it the day after Easter or even before.

Clearly a piece of hit legislation which modern day Democrats are extremely skilled at.

Wikipedia: International Transgender Day of Visibility

International Transgender Day of Visibility (often referred to as TDOV or Trans Day of Visibility) is an annual event occurring on March 31[1][2] dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society. The event was created by transgender activist[3] Rachel Crandall of Michigan in 2009[4] as a reaction to the lack of LGBTQ+ recognition of transgender people, citing the frustration that the only well-known transgender-centered day was the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which mourned the murders of transgender people, but did not acknowledge and celebrate living members of the transgender community. The first International Transgender Day of Visibility was held on March 31, 2009. It has since been spearheaded by the U.S.-based youth advocacy organization Trans Student Educational Resources.[5]

and

In 2021, U.S. President Joe Biden proclaimed March 31 as a Transgender Day of Visibility, stating in part, "I call upon all Americans to join in the fight for full equality for all transgender people." Biden was the first American president to issue a formal presidential proclamation recognizing the event.[9][10][11]

Meanwhile:

As a moveable feast,[1][2] the date of Easter is determined in each year through a calculation known as computus (Latin for 'computation').[3] Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon, which is the first full moon on or after 21 March (a fixed approximation of the March equinox). Determining this date in advance requires a correlation between the lunar months and the solar year, while also accounting for the month, date, and weekday of the Julian or Gregorian calendar.[4] The complexity of the algorithm arises because of the desire to associate the date of Easter with the date of the Jewish feast of Passover which, Christians believe, is when Jesus was crucified.[5] [source]

The conjunction of these two dates is the result of Easter being a moveable feast. Get over it.

Parenthetically, one way you might honor Easter might be to drop the performative homophobic outrage and embrace the humanity of the transgender community.

Because 15 years ago, the first of now 15 Transgender day of Visibility on March 31 was designed to fall on Easter 15 years later!

Extraordinarily devious long-range planning, that!

I believe it's all just another avenue of rebellion against God as part of the ongoing counterculture movement.

I'm glad there's a thread about it, because I have been wondering. There is a lot of noise about this from 'News' channels on youtube. They never really are very useful, but they do alarm you. The news is like toxic pudding.

Because a male acting like a female isn't what God made them. Trans actors actually have an issue accepting themselves.

Where does the Bible say that? Those are your assumptions. Your judgements. You are speaking for God on this very specific thing

The truth is is that the Bible doesn't speak on the topic of gender dysphoria. So where does that leave you? How do you come to the judgement you've come to? How can something be against God when it isn't even addressed in the Bible?

Then why was it declared as being Easter Sunday?

Yet another Biden moment here?

Look at where that headline's wording was created:

President Biden's proclamation doesn't mention the words Easter Sunday at all.

Use any and all pronouns including neo and it/it's
I was so confused at reading the title cuz I been honoring TDOV for a couple years now. And TDOR (Transgender day of rememberance) which falls on Nov 20th. So I just was like what is this user going on about and as expected it's just folk misunderstanding things.

Why would they change the day after 14 previous years of it being on the same day?
Yet the traditional egg rolling at the Whitehouse has been banned since this announcement.

They had it last year.

Seems one is preferred over another as far as recognition goes. Why not both then?
