President Joe Biden Declares Easter Sunday As Transgender Day Of Visibility

They could just move it to the 32nd or deal with this issue as a mental illness and accept themselves for what they are rather than demanding that the rest of the world accept them for what they pretend to be.
It simply never ceases to amaze me -- what differentiates humans from the rest of the animal kingdom is that grey stuff between our ears and behind our eyes. Our strength, our senses and so many other faculties are so often inferior, but what makes us the dominant species on this planet is our brains. Our brains can do things no other species can. Our brains can conceive of things no other species could even begin to imagine.

And then if you have a penis --- THAT, and nothing else, is what so many religious people think defines us. Truly sad, in my view.

Clearly a premeditated plan of assault on one of the most sacred days of the Christian religion! Hard to imagine the discussions around the decision that lead to this get-out-the-Trump-vote gaff!

President Joe Biden Declares Easter Sunday As Transgender Day Of Visibility

President Joe Biden Declares Easter Sunday As Transgender Day Of Visibility, Donald Trump And Caitlyn Jenner Demand Apology To Christians

Story by Ariela Anís

President Joe Biden is sparking fury nationwide, including reactions from both Donald Trump and Caitlyn Jenner, after declaring Easter Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility, a day of awareness to celebrate the successes of transgender and gender-nonconforming people.........

So one can mark "X" as their gender marker on their passport application. Maybe the government should just stop asking the gender question?

Is it the governments business what gender you identify as?

This seems like just another mountain made of a mole hill for political reasons.

The day for Easter changes from year to year. The debate over when to celebrate Easter has been going on since the 2nd century and different denominations *still* celebrate on different days.

So, it is simply a coincidence that this year it falls on March 31.

The TDOV has been going on for the last 15 years *on the same date*.

It just seems a case of some Americans getting bent out of shape because people they don't like get recognition. Sorry, but that's life in a republic/democracy.

Eh... It's not just religious people. To me it's a reminder that no matter how highly we like to place ourselves over our surroundings as a species, our feet are still firmly planted on the same soil as every other animal on this planet. We still have a long ways to go, but I'm hopeful

It's been around for 10-15 years. It's always been on March 31st. If Easter was set like Christmas, maybe an inevitable coincidence wouldn't happen.

YouTube not only feeds misinformation and conspiracy, it creates it. And then the algorithm amplifies the creation exponentially.

There is a problem with lumping. The algorithm tries to deduce your political views and corner you and to show you what will please you. You can echo chamber yourself into hysterics. The algorithm is indeed adrenaline driven. Its one of the ways to get alternative views though like Tim Black. Just avoid the news shows mostly, and be choosy about your topics. If somebody has a very bad channel you can say "Don't show me videos from that channel." Some things on there are quite good like Robert Murray Smith and the Slingshot Channel. Adverts are very mild in tone about the same as on RF.

If you want an alternative you can try odysee.com. It tends to have a more conservative mix of presenters though, so if you're looking for Colbert or something like that you won't get it there.

Clearly a case of more victimhood among the religious. And Christians aren't affected at all.

The matter could just as easily be seen as the Christians encroaching on a sacred day for transgendered people and those who support love, kindness, and tolerance for all.

I believe it's all just another avenue of rebellion against God as part of the ongoing counterculture movement.
Of course you do. These are people that hate God, and are immoral and rebellious so that they can indulge in hedonistic practices intended to disrespect your religion, right?

I believe it's a sign of cultural progress - an affirmation of humanist values, which are inclusive and enabling.
Because a male acting like a female isn't what God made them.
If a god made males that behave like females, then you should respect that. I do, and I have no gods, but I do hold humanist values.

This isn't a good look for the religious who object. They come across as small, petty, bitter, unloving, and intolerant. Shall we frame this as the war on Easter now?
this get-out-the-Trump-vote gaff!
It's spelled "gaffe."

This is a calculated risk by President Biden. Making the announcement at this time is going to cost him politically, and I think he knows it. This is when Disney's leadership is contested, when Disney and other DEI supporting companies are getting sued for their anti-white hiring practices. They're legitimately being sued for blatant racist quotas. There is news of weird decolonization of Math and other weird activities where schools actually plan to leave parents out of decisions about their kids for the sake of the transexual DEI movement. Its after Harvard has gotten famous for its DEI plagiarizing president. All of this has strings tied to this move Biden is making. Its all in the name of protecting transgender people, but its been done very badly. I can see that white males are demonized wherever there is a DEI culture movement. There is a clear attempt to divide the country into races again, and its obviously funded by lobbies mostly blackrock. The whole feminist movement has been tossed under the bus to undefine what a woman is. We had a lot of discussing here on RF about what happened when JK Rowling made a tiny peep that was unacceptable to a fringe of the DEI crowd, how she got shouted down and called terf. She was the biggest supporter of trans people you could ever find and still is, but she's a hated figure now. They tried to boycott a Harry Potter game and kill it just to spite her. Now Biden has chosen this year to associate himself strongly with all of it, and its not going to help him win votes. Maybe he's confident that there is more than enough fear of Trump.

Jesus was about a transformation of the inner man, and not an outward or shallow transformation of the outer person, that is pushed by Liberalism; Biden's handlers. The inner man does not change after drugs and surgery. This is why suicide will still be high among the trans transformed, after so many years. That does not matter to the money changers.

Shallow? Like how big a deal some people make about matching bathrooms with genitalia, pronouns and clothing?

If transgender was inwardly self liberating; like the symbolism of Easter, that outward change would not be needed. It would be a life changing self realization. Jesus returns with the old body, that still has the wounds, but his spirit is renewed; inner man.

Self-liberation and inner change is up to individuals, not a group. Do you suppose all Christians look towards inner reflection and depth with Easter?

Liberalism is very shallow, which is why identity politics is so important to that movement. It appears to have a female spirit. A woman can change her hair color and style and buy a new costume, and she is reborn; feels refreshed. This is not for men. Men need an environmental change, such a new life, a new job, new project, new challenge, etc, to get him up and running; change the potential of the visual surrounds.

Women seek to be seen, while men seek to see, so their brains can adapt and adjust.

There are plenty of men who focus on social identity and plenty of women who seek inner depth. Have you ever considered that strict and superficial gender stereotypes may be one of the problems behind some of the rebellion against traditional gender roles?

That's NOT to suggest that there are no biological aspects to transgenderism: Human identity is complex. But insisting that women only care about looks and men care about the environment they find themselves in is a very...well, superficial way of thinking about things.

Maybe for Easter you'll want to reflect on how a transgender person may be experiencing the social world based on their inner nature and compare it to Christ rising from the tomb and being reborn from death into a new spiritual life.

Caitlyn Jenner is transgender, so why is she jumping on the bandwagon of all this faux Christian outrage? That appears hypocritical to me.

Jenner's identity may be divorced either purposely or not from her celebrity status. My guess is it's:

Because a male acting like a female isn't what God made them. Trans actors actually have an issue accepting themselves.
You do understand that not everyone believes in your God, right? Nor do they believe in your Bible. Nor do your God or Bible have any authority over the rest of us or over the US. The US is not a Christian nation, never was, never will be. And lest anyone trot out the tired "The US was founded on Christian principles and values", please tell us what those Christian principles and values are. That it's a country largely of Christians does not make it a Christian nation. You do understand that, right? I hope I live long enough to see the day when Christians finally and fully understand it's not all about them.
