I'm from America, and that's how I know how tolerant people are in the nation really depends on where you are. I just moved from Indiana to California. In Indiana it's not hard for me to draw stares of shock, disgust, and disapproval, just for being me. Here in California it's way harder for me to get singled out in such a way because I blend in more with the crowd.
So you obviously are not white Caucasian. And if you tell me
what country you or your ancestors are from you know I could
quickly see how much racism is there.
Sure, you will get some people who can't connect with people
of other cultures or races. I myself find Indians irritating, but
I did date an Indian for three years!! And I am not at home with
African American culture, so I don't act like an African American.
And I find the idea of people sneaking into the country a Bad
Thing. But I am not racist - I have about five different races in me.
And America is generally not racist. That doesn't mean you have
to like every culture or religion.
