I used to drive to Detroit once a year to visit family some years ago. Ohio was the only state with anti abortion signs along the highway.

Oh, and i remember seeing a sign about doomsday lol It was advertising a website for everyone to go visit.

We have anti-abortion protests a lot here. They happen downtown by near City Hall or the Statehouse. Sometimes you'll see one of those "truth trucks" with the pictures of aborted fetuses on it driving around. It's a real downer.

I've seen a surprising number of anti-abortion protesters here in Ontario. The ones in the Toronto area tend to go in more for the pictures of aborted fetuses. Down here in the southwest, they tend to go for the non-graphic "40 Days of Life" and "pray to end abortion" signs.

If you're going to use that argument, it opens the door to euthanasia of people whose lives we deem to be lesser. That's not a road I'm interested in traveling down.

I gave the hospital doctors permission to switch off my elderly mother some years ago, and I hope somebody'll switch me off in the future if ever I become a vegetable too..;)

As crude and offensive such a tactic is, sadly, it's still a step up from most of the anti-abortion rhetoric that gets thoughtlessly pasted across RF.

Gasp! Touché. Well, that's coming from someone who strictly believes denying someone life isn't a basic human life. Oh god im dictating again. OH GAWD!!!

Prior to the tragic events of 9/11, the most active and dangerous terrorist group in the USA was the anti-abortion movement. They had bombed clinics and assasinated doctors and nurses.

I see you are still not ready for honest discussion on this topic.

Thruve is not.

It has now become little more than kicking a long perished/shriveled horse carcass.

The smell remains, but the life that once was there, has long left the body, and not even a ******* is likely to suddenly arise in it's stead.

Almost every honest argument or opinion on the subject has already been expressed. S2, though a supporter of murdering babies, is right. Topics now a dead horse.

NO s2, the smell is of the rotting fetus that died along with the horse.

Now that is damn disappointing.

I was hoping you would have one...

Uh, naw dude. It's disappointing That you never directly stated wether you believe denying someone life is a basic human right. Instead of debating over an honest discussion that you've yet to answer, I'm the one being called out. What's sad is that if you truly believe it to be a basic human right, then you trolled me.

No, you trolled yourself.
It is not any fault of mine that you so seriously suck at back peddling.

Since it seems to be so important to you, I shall allow you to have the coveted last word.

knock yourself out.

What's important is that the world knows there's individuals out there that consider denying someone life over selfishness not a basic human right. Such as yourself, and begin discussion... And let's begin. C'mon dude. Stop telling me I'm not up for honest discussion. Let's go..
