Proof of The Soul (Pandora's Contraption - Part 2)

Its about duplicating the brain. And questioning what occurs to the conscious 'YOU'.
Nobody ever questioned that they would have differing experiences thereafter, so its pointless even mentioning that.

"at the instant of duplication, my consciousness and my clones consciousness WOULD be identical"
But only one could actually be YOU.

I disagree. At the instant of duplication when both minds are still identical then there would be TWO of me. The instant our experiences started to diverge then I would perceive me as being me and my clone as being the 'fake' me. However, my clone would undoubtedly perceive himself to be the REAL me and that I was actually the 'fake' me. The reality is that if such a phenomenon could occur then afterwards from the perspective of anyone else there WOULD be two of me, each who developed differently from different experiences at the point of our duplication. The only one who would have a conflict between me and the 'fake' me would be me and my clone.

Identical, except in two different locations. That doesn't seem any more unusual than many other paradoxes of identity. If you have two takes that are absolutely identical, they are still different if they are in different places.

Each of us has our own unique sense of 'I'.
I can tell that I am not you.
You can tell that you are not I.
A pair of 'identical twins' both know which one is which without error,
because each one has their own individual 'I'.
Yes on that level you are right, we all have individual conditioning programming and of course a dash of gens, but deeper than that we are all One, and so you and I are One.
