Prostitution Should Be Legalized

It's easy, men should realize that their money is wasted for BS, women don't have
any feelings towards a man doing it for money.

Divorcing should be the solution for unsuccessful marriages.
But, men don't use prostitutes for mutual love. It for their own physical pleasure.

You guys think legalizing prostitution could help in the STD spreading problem? And how?

Because prostitutes in regulated brothels have to be regularly checked, they are allowed to require condom use, they are allowed a dick check of the customer beforehand, and they are allowed to deny any customer if they so wish.

Compare that with a streetwalker spending twenty minutes in a random person's car.

It is really simple: things are healthier and safer when regulated. We know this to be true.

Use prostitutes, as if we're talking about goods.
Like we "use" mechanics to get our cars fixed or "use" dentists to get our teeth fixed. Nice dodge, but can you explain how your previous comment was relevant when "johns" don't usually care about whether the prostitute is enjoying it?

It can't hurt. And if it were legal women could demand condoms be used and men couldn't just bully them without consequences.

Thanks for the input, guys.

That was an honest question, by the way. It was neither sarcastic nor meant to have any ulterior motives behind it.

The man should go to a hospital and get a report before going to the brothel, good business
for the hospitals as well.

Pardon if I sounded as if I was annoyed by your question. This whole topic is a sensitive one for yours truly.

Unreasonable legal hurdles don't make the situation better ... They make it worse by creating more lawlessness. Regulations must be rational, reasonable, and should not attempt to enforce morality.

IMHO, if the woman is not being used, is completely ready and willing to sell sex, practices safe sex, and isn't being forced in any way shape or form, there is nothing wrong with prostitution. Exploitation is often minimized when practices like this are legalized, so legalization might be the best bet.

Not sure what the **** meant, but of course we use the mechanic him or herself. The Mechanic uses his or her body physically along with their skills and know-how to get the car fixed. The prostitute uses his or her body physically along with their skills and know-how to get the customer "off".

sorry about that. I should have clarified. "John" is a common term in the states that refers to men who pay for sex from prostitutes. Basically they are just customers.

Thanks man :)

I heard the word used for the bathroom in a movie of the early 80's. I tried to find a logical relation here, but couldn't. That's why I asked.

We also call toilets "Johns" too ... And, now that you mention it, it is pretty peculiar. I guess both kinds of Johns are just thought of as being gross.

It's immoral to say we use the mechanic, except if my English is bad.
We use the mobile, we use the lavatory....etc, but to use humans...

Yes, it is used for both. No idea why. Going to the john is going to the bathroom/toilet, a person called a john is slang for the customer of a prostitute. It gets the most confusing with the phrase 'on the john.'
