The socalled leader of Russian fedderation.. who the hell do you think you are?

Not only is He going to war in Ukraine, but now he say if Finland and Sweden join Nato Russia has to respond with force?

Enough is enough, Putin your beloved Russia may not be free because of you.

But stay the Hell out of the free Europe...

Putin lives in a world where power comes by brute force and he's reached the top of the power pyramid, and held onto that power for many decades, now. So he's very good at knowing when and how to wield brute force.

Our politicians live in a world where lying and cheating and stealing to amass great wealth are the preferred methods of obtaining and holding onto power. So our politicians are befuddled, now, when they are being confronted with the reality of brute force. Putin knows this, and so he knows that now is a good time to project that brute force into the world, to expand his domain. And He's quite right. Our politicians are befuddled and impotent in the face of his brutal aggression.

I'd suppose that means Putin wants to invade them at some point?
Like with Ukraine, NATO can't really move against Russia because it is not a member.

I'd suggest they join ASAP.

Norway is a member but not Finland or Sweden, as far as my understanding, Putin dont want Nato next to him.
Well if he doesn't want more countries joining NATO he's setting about it in a funny way. But the danger I see is that NATO has already admitted too many members whose territory is hard to defend by conventional means. The logic of that is that NATO might have to threaten nuclear escalation at an early stage, if there were an attack. I feel we may be closer to WW3 now than we were in the 1970s.

And with your superior clarity of thought, what do you think they should do?

I would be very worried if I were Finland and honestly also Sweden. Finland does have a pretty big and decent army as far as I know. But they are sort of in the same position as Ukraine is, they are not part of NATO and im not sure how NATO would respond if he did the same towards Finland and I think Sweden would join in and help Finland. In fact I think Norway and Denmark would as well, it could potentially draw in all of NATO I think.

But I agree, he seem to have completely lost connection with reality. This is getting out of hand, he could potentially trigger WW3 with all these demands, because I doubt neither Sweden or Finland are going to do as he say.

If Finland and Sweden goes, Norway do too, since Norway is closest neighbor to Sweden

Sadly, the only way to counter brute force is to make it ineffective. Figuring out the best way to do that requires superior intelligence, and the courage to implement whatever measures are decide upon. These are not characteristics that liars, cheaters, and thieves tend to possess in any great measure. So our current politicians are not likely to pose much of an effective opposition to Putin's forced aggression.

The solution was to not allow ourselves to be hoodwinked into such a state of blinding greed and selfish stupidity where such weak men can attain positions of power and piles of wealth. But that ship has sailed, and we may now have to pay the consequences. In which case the only way to counter brute force is with with brute force. But that'd a be a very dangerous strategy given the fact that this is basically a big game of "chicken", now.

Finland & Norway might need to become a nation
of Simo Hayhas ("The White Death"). Russia has
invaded them before. And Putin is hungry.

Please excuse my flirting with Godwin's Law.
I'm just really amused by the pic.

I thought Finland/Sweden were already in NATO. Shows what I know. I understand why that would be upsetting.
Scandinavia has been getting a free ride forever when it comes to defense. Have no real military and everyone praises them for their welfare programs as if they are the utopian example of modern socialism. Must be nice to have all that extra money while USA bears the burden of the free world on it's shoulders. :D

Unfortunately I expect Russia will be better prepared this time. The last time they invaded Finland they basically just sent in wave after wave of troops with little thought for logistics or tactics.

And they'd be fully aware of Russia's increased capability.
I refer to Simo Hayhas because of his attitude, not just
skill as a sniper.
