Greek mythology predates the Bible and contains references to factual places in Greece as well as references to a variety of deities. So, do you believe that Zeus, Hera, Ares, and Athena, along with the other deities depicted in Greek mythology, are real gods and goddesses, given the fact that there are references to actual sites in Greece that you could visit today? If not, then why not? The truth is that, like the Bible, which mentions several actual places, Greek mythology cites several actual locations in Greece, including Athens, Crete, Delphi, Thebes, and Mount Olympus. Why should I, or any other non-Christian, believe that the Bible is more credible than Greek mythology or that the biblical God is real but the deities of Greek mythology are not real?

Greek Mythological Sites You Can Still Visit Today

Where should I go to see sites from Greek mythology?
I see you too have discovered how this new logic can demonstrate every conclusion. Even those that oppose each other.

Isn't it fantastic.

I've read many of your posts and have read many of his, so I'm confident that you know more about this topic than he does.
Why thank you very much.

I really don't understand the idea that in order to have faith in God people must live in ignorance and believe nonsense.

Let me guess. God lies to me? Haha.

I can't recall how many times I've heard people say, "God told me!" whenever they try to justify their beliefs about creationism or the Bible. I find it ironic that every story I've heard that begins with "God told me!" plainly contradicts the story of someone else who also claimed to have heard from God.

The odds are very very high that if you think that you were delusional. People imagine that God talked to them quite often.
The no God assumption leads to the no Satan assumption and thus deception by Satan.
Also censorship leads to propaganda and indoctrination which also leads to deception by Satan.

But now that we’re on the subject, my god is the universe and im pretty sure infinite space might have a few tricks up it’s sleeve when it comes to delivering knowledge to minds.

Why believe that?. Yes, the universe exists, but there does not appear to be any rational reason to believe that there is an intelligence behind it.

You’re right, infinity is less than inspiring. It’s kind of dumb actually
Well there is a class A non sequitur. Just because the universe is big does not mean that it is intelligent. Ridicule when you are the one making foolish claims that even you know that you cannot support does not work.

Try again.
