Quitting Smoking

Wow, that's really interesting Jonny! Thanks, I'm going to try that. I know one thing that's been helping me is (oddly enough) when I start to get a craving, I just take an unlit cigarette and hold it between my lips for a few minutes. The craving usually passes after that.

Aww, Becky, thank you, you're a sweetheart!

i went a week with out any cigs, and i was tearing my hair out yesturday! i could not concentrate, i was frustrated with everything, i felt like i could not get anything right........ i brought some cheap rolling tobacco (i normally smoke(d) the more pricey one, it's just nicer) - i rolled it up, lit it, but i could only stomach half of it.... BUT since that half a crappy roll up, my cravings have been satisfied

se im gonna see how long i can last for now without needing to take some more :)

im actualy quite proud of myself! hang in there C_1, it's tough, but worth it!

The most common type of natural give up smoking assist would be the herbal cigarette. This particular cigarette is produced from herbs at don’t contain nicotine.

I've went a very easy three weeks without a cigarette because I got an e-cigarette. And since I have switched, I have been using less and less, and can go a few days without even thinking of smoking.

I think that it is great that you are quitting smoking! There is really no reason to pay for that habit - both financially and physically. But you definitely need to want to do it. You can't be a fairweather quitter. You really have to set your mind on never smoking again. Maybe set up some reward system. Every time you get the urge to buy a pack, put aside the money you would have used on them. Save up for a few months and then use that money to reward yourself if you have stuck with your promise to yourself to quit! Gives you a little something to work towards! (and the money really add up!)

Quitting smoking sucks! I haven't touched a cigarette for probably a year now (I quit keeping count after about a month). It took me about a dozen tries but I finally did it cold turkey. Smoking doesn't even bother me now. I have no urge whatsoever to pick up the habit again. My wallet certainly thanks me.

You can still do it. How long have you been a smoker, if I may ask?
