Quran is free of errors

Response: There's a statement. Now just provide the proof.

Lol you mean proof that the Earth couldn't have existed before the stars? You could start by looking up nucleosynthesis.

Response: Your giving meaning to the qur'an. Show me from the qur'an where it says that the 7 heavens is " referring to the ancient view of the sky being made up of seven spheres consisting of the orbits of the Moon, Sun and the five visible planets"?

There's no need to show you from the Quran itself. The seven heavens refers to pre-Copernican cosmology consisting of the orbits of the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter then Saturn, in order of increasing distance. There's nothing mystical or profound about it, indeed it's exactly the description one would expect if the Quran was of human origin from the seventh century. The Quran also states that stars are in the lowest heaven, meaning the orbit of the Moon

Response: So exactly where is the proof that they are not in the lower heaven?

Do I really need to prove that the stars are further away than the Moon? :D

Response: In other words, you want me to find your proof? No thank you.

Response: You said:"There's no need to show you from the Quran itself". Therefore the meaning that follows is not from the qur'an so there is no issue.

Response: Does the qur'an say that the Moon is farther from the stars? If so, prove it?

So you don't contest the fact that the Earth could not have existed before the stars, that's a start.

The meaning is based upon what the seven heavens actually is. Mohammad didn't describe it because it was assumed that everyone knew what it referred to, the Moon, Sun and the five known planets. Mohammad also added that Allah's throne is above the seventh heaven, so perhaps Allah's throne is floating somewhere between Saturn and Uranus!

Response: Does the qur'an say that the Moon is farther from the stars? If so, prove it?

Yes, the Quran states the stars are in the lowest heaven.

Response: No. I contest your assertion that the qur'an says that the earth was created before the stars and your inability to provide evidence that the existence of the earth before the stars is unscientific.

Read the verses I quoted again.

That's your seven heavens, the geocentric system and nothing more. I don't expect you or any other Muslim to accept this interpretation because that would disprove the Quran and hence Islam.

In fairness to the zealots, they have demonstrated their obstinance quite well. I'm fairly comfortable in saying that they won't be opening their minds to anything factual that you present.

You don't realize just how tightly they have to close their minds to be able to deny reality.

Response: That's not in the qur'an. That picture nor the term "geocentric system" is in the qur'an. Thank you for demonstrating that you can't find any error in the qur'an. It shows that the qur'an is in fact free from error and your true intent, being as though your argument has no logical proof from the start. We do appreciate it.

And at least 98% of what you are claiming isn't in there either - but that isn't you down any.

The manure that you are trying to spread is so pathetically transparent.

Surely to goodness, the followers of Islam have better to offer the world than this tripe.

Demanding double standards again I see.
It is unscientific to claim that the earth was made before the stars. One of the tenets of the big bang theory is of the first matter being hydrogen (with trace amounts of helium). The process by which higher elements are formed is through nuclear fusion – which is stars. So, in order to make the higher elements comprising the earth it is first necessary for stars to have created those higher elements.
The relevant koranic verses are:
Sura 41:9-12 said:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Do you verily disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two Days and you set up rivals (in worship) with Him? That is the Lord of the Alam" (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
He placed therein (i.e. the earth) firm mountains from above it, and He blessed it, and measured therein its sustenance (for its dwellers) in four Days equal (i.e. all these four 'days' were equal in the length of time), for all those who ask (about its creation).
Then He istaw (rose over) towards the heaven when it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth: "Come both of you willingly or unwillingly." They both said: "We come, willingly."
Then He completed seven heavens in two Days and He made in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars) to be an adornment as well as to guard (from the devils by using them as missiles against the devils). Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.
These verses clearly describe a chronology of creation, first starting with the earth, then the planets (referring to the geocentric model prevalent in the 7th century in the process) before finally finishing with the stars.

The funniest freaking thing about all of this? Fatihah claims to be ignorant about the evidence proving the earth formed after the stars despite it directly stemming from the same big bang theory he claims the koran predicted!!!! It is like a comedy trainwreck.

It is another thing the koran got wrong.
