What a beautiful cat! How old is she?

She is a little over 5 years old. carrdero had another siamese but she past away so he got another one. She is our little angel. carrdero thinks she is a pain in the butt sometimes but that's what he says about me too...:biglaugh:

My cat would either eat my hand or die of a heart attack if we tried to give her a bath XD. Thankfully, she's very clean, so we don't have to worry about it anyway :}.

One "trick" I've learned to make cat bathing a bit less traumatic for the cat as well as the bather.... put the cat in the sink (or tub or whatever) first, then add the water. For some reason, the cat finds this less objectionable than being plunked into a tub with water already in it.

I can't seem to find that email someone sent me about the dog's method for bathing cats... it involved a toilet and flushing (to agitate as well as for the rinse cycle)...

I had three "rescued" cats that were adopted by my step-daughter when Gails allergic reaction to them would not allow them in the house. I'm petless now.

I took Robin (my cat) to the vet today, cause she was due for her cat flu vaccination. Robin hates going to the vet (as any sensible animal does), and she pooed on the vet's hand when he took her temperature. I told him I would too, if he'd stuck a thermometer up my bum. He said he'd make a note of it in her chart for future reference. :biglaugh:

He was pretty good about it. He calmly said "She's going to the toilet on my hand", and then when it became obvious exactly in what way (I wasn't sure, cause he'd just mentioned she had a full bladder when he was examining her), he laughed and said "Don't you really want go to and become a vet?"
