I thought it was Jack Webb.
Pat Sajak gets more action than @John53
You made that a fact by googling Pat Sajak. Now they got more attention than you - or do you think anyone would google John53?You're supposed to insult me not post facts and I had to google Pat Sajak.

You could at least choose someone ive heard of.

The person @Revoltingest was talking about is kind of a skinny, full-of-himself, weasely guy in a 50-60's show called The Andy Griffith Show in which he and Andy work as county police officers in a relatively low-crime town called Mayberry, and where the townsfolk all know each other. One running joke on the show is how the two men run their jobs as police officers based on things like heart, common sense, etc, but yet, don't really tend to go "by the books", and may at times come off as unprofessional, and not very effective, but somehow, their common sense, and luck, always pulls through, causing them to look like great police officers.
Yes, it scared the bejeezus out of me.@Revoltingest watched that too, but he couldn't watch it after dark for fear of nightmares.
Now you know Barney Fife, man of action. You could at least choose someone ive heard of.

(Andy, the sheriff wouldn't let Barney have
any bullets in his gun. But he did carry one
in his pocket...just in case.)
