I used to fall on my head alot when I was a kid. My mom says she used to put alot of knit hats on my head, because they didn't make little helmets back then. No wonder I'm so messed up. :D

While I have an ethical stand against copyright...I tend to violate my own stance with video games. I have a soft spot :p.
Against violating copyright, or against the copyright itself, if I may ask?

And Unedited, we have something in common!

Master Vigil, did you fall on your head because of the knitted hats, or were they an attempt to prevent damage? *picturing the Mike Myers pre-school kid that had to wear a helmet and was chained to the playground equipment, because she has a tendancy to get compared to that kid as well*

I insist on writing dates the European way.
I had no idea for all those years that Americans wrote the date different. Then the papers started referring to "9/11" (which is ninth of November to me).

I do like American spelling though. Missing out letters you don't need and the like, makes sense to me.

Against copyright, but I tend to avoid violating copyright on any product I can buy (tend to, but not always, though lol). I feel it's becoming a threat, and so must be checked. If we could return it to the old balance, I wouldn't have a problem, but things have spun too far out of control, and technology makes that balance too difficult :(.

I have a tendency to buy books faster than I read them, and then go on long binges where it is my dominant activity.
Me too!

Let's see...what else can I say....

I have a cat named Talula.

I've given her multiple nicknames (Tally-ker-rawr, Luna, Ta-loo, Tanuka Feu, and Mary ann, to name a few). I'm obsessed with names and their meanings. I give multiple nicknames to almost everybody I love. I went by Kari for 2 years.

My 12 year old has me wrapped around his little finger. So far it's managed to get him a cockatiel, a parrolet, two guinea pigs, a lop eared bunny, 4 red ear slider turtles, a cat and a ferret. I eat the next one.

My cat is nicknamed "RatCat"

My daughter has two nicknames; "Sniggle"= she is being sweet or "Snortz" she is NOT being sweet. :D

My son is nicknamed "Bugs" after my alltime favorite Cartoon Charecter. His best friend before elementary also had that nickname.

My wife's nickname is "Sweetsie-pie" (though she too exhibits the sniggle/snortz dichotomy)

Wow, someone else who shares my love of nicknames! I'll have to think up some new ones for some of you...

I sometimes add "ness" to people's nicknames, thereby creating a new nickname. So NetDoc, you would be "The NetDocness", and Feathers in Hair, "The Featherness". Can't do that for me though, my husband is already "The Johnnyness."

I think we definitely need copyright, you spend all the time and thought of making this one thing, you should reap the benefits. Someone down the street shouldn't copy you and make all of your potential profits.

You know how old men have those "trick knees" that always knows when like a storm is coming or something?
I have that in my wrist...i shattered it in high school and since then i can tell when the weather's going to change or when a storm's coming through cause my wrist has these incredible shooting pains...

I think American spelling does seem to make a little more sense sometimes, but not much more. Few words in English make sense to me the way they are spelled. But then they hold their history with them so that's nice.

I like writing the dates that way because it makes more sense to me to go from least to detailed. I use to get in fights with my teachers over it.

Another bit of information: I look three to four years younger than I am. I was handed children’s menus until I turned 16.

I'm with you, Jewscout. I broke my finger last year, and it does the same thing. It doesn't seem as reliable as your knee though. My finger doesn't hurt before every storm, but every time it hurts, I can be sure there's a storm coming!
