I can look out my front door and see a Catholic church, a Presbyterian church, an old Baptist church that was just condemned because the roof is caving in, a Church of Christ, a Disciples of Christ church and the very top of the Episcopal church.

When I look out my door, I see the Orange Blossoms, the incredible mass of ferns that surround my happy little creek, and CRAP... the gator is back too! He THINKS he is hiding among the ferns, and is after my cat which is outside somewhere. So I got's to go play "Whack-a-Gator" :D. I think I need to get animal control out someday as he has come into my yard three times now. Stupid gator.

Not sure if I said this one already... When I was in 3rd grade I was told I needed glasses. In 6th grade I fell down my basement stairs, hit the back of my head off of the concrete floor, and when I got back up, I could see perfectly. Now I have 20/10 vision in my left eye and 20/20 in my right.

When I was in elementary, I took my first IQ test, and that one said I had an IQ in the low 90s (I can't remember the exact number).

We all know now that that is extremely low for you. :)

Master Vigil, what did everyone say when you told them you could see better? :) Too bad getting hit in the head doesn't cure everything, or else I'd be a superhuman by now.

Yeah, I know. I think the test is rather funny. I've tested at other scores, but never at a stable number. I get a kick out of that one (and the fact that my scores have a 10-20 point spread in them). It's little wonder I don't trust the tests :D.

They didn't believe me until I made them take me to the eye doctor to get it checked. And sure enough, it was all better. They were just like, hmm... They never really told me exactly what happened. :)

I was a really innocent little kid, and in first grade I got in trouble for sticking my middle finger up (as a dare) because I didn't know it was bad :(

Heh. That's like fixing the TV by slapping the side of the TV :p.

When I took an IQ test it said mine was 136. I think that's being really liberal though, jugein by al mi speling erors. :p

The IQ test itself is poorly designed, if memory serves me right (probably doesn't) I think it was made about a hundred years ago by the French government to test pupil brightness. 100 years ago isn't exactly cutting edge technology :)

I hated my middle name until the 3rd grade because I couldn't spell it until then. I like it so much now, I gave my daughter the same middle name. :)

I used to cry at the drop of a hat...right up until midway through high school. It was really embarrassing once I hit year 7, but I still couldn't stop myself. If someone said something mean to me, the tears would flow, and make me more of a target for being a cry baby.

Believe it or not, I have a lot more control over it than I used to. These days when I cry, it's usually a straw-that-breaks-the-camel's-back episode, that just looks like it's come from nowhere, cause I've bottled things up previously.

I also hated my middle name, and it wasn't until I hit adulthood that I decided I liked it after all. Not because I couldn't spell it, it was because whenever anyone asked what it was, I'd tell them, and they'd go "Huh?". I often wished for a 'common' middle name, like Lee - but now I like it.

I love my middle name!!! It's so much more common and cool then my first name. I wish I could change my first name I hate it. A lot of people I know hate their names.
