My avatar is the back of a special guitar made by Cf. Martin, a D-35. It has a quarter-sawn three-peice back with one that gives it the triangle-like shape.

I thought that looked familiar. My brother has several Martins, and the D-35 is his fav axe. The only thing I like as well as my brother's Martins is my husband's Catreras that he got while in Madrid.

If you're ever actually in the market for one, you can usually get them really cheap in the buy and sell page of the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum http://p082.ezboard.com/btheunofficialmartinguitarforum. They have plenty of UK members, and people trade all the time.

I love Martins! I have a D-15 and a D-18, and both will never leave me. )(
