I'm currently big into One-Punch Man. Only a subtitled version exists of the anime so far, but there is an English dub in the works. The manga is currently being sold in both Japanese and English versions (other languages might also exist, but I'm not aware of them).

Dragonball Z is fun, if you like watching just the most ridiculous **** happen as people who can literally wreck planets on their own have screaming matches and beat the **** out of each other. I honestly would suggest seeing the Abridged version. It's hysterical and the voice-acting is stunning.
Witness the glory of the 1st season here. And don't be put off by the first 14 minutes. It *really* kicks ***.

Hellsing Ultimate is great. The regular/first Hellsing isn't.
Elfin Leid is pretty good, even if the voice acting is terrible.
Hetalia has lots of super cute and adorable characters and is hilarious if you know enough about history (mostly WW1/2) and the different cultures to get all the jokes.

Karin is about a young girl who happens to be a reverse vampire that spits blood out instead of sucking blood in like other vampires. *grin* I found that one enjoyable
A more serious one is Karakurizōshi Ayatsuri Sakon which is a detective type anime with a bunraku puppet that solves crime mysteries through its owners personality which gives it an interesting twist to the usual investigative detective fare.
They are not as well known in the west and subtitled. I know of no dubbed versions.
