It was all I could do to get it over the net.
Hmmmm I actually don't know how common this is for adults but I assume it's unusual:
I still sleep with my teddy bear next to me.
I have pointy ears.
It's called Darwin's Tubercle, or Darwin's Point, and it's an alteration in that part of the ear. About 10% of people have it, but usually it's not noticeable because it's not pointy, just some extra cartilage, like this instead:
Only a subset of that 10% become pointy like in the first picture. Basically they're more significant cases of it. It's rather uncommon to have the actual points.
Mine are symmetrical, so each ear has the same size point in the same spot. People don't generally notice them visually unless they're looking closely at my ear for some reason, but if someone touches them, they feel extremely pointy and rigid.
I am also terrible with those social rituals.I suck at remembering birthdays on my own as well as fulfilling customary "duties" that have to do with visits, phone calls, etc.
I forgot about my best friend's birthday because this was the first time it came without my being on Facebook. He also seemed to forget when mine was, and I didn't really think about it much.
I also hadn't talked to a certain relative of mine for over two months when someone reminded me that he hadn't called lately. I had pretty much forgotten about that too (or didn't care, more specifically) and was merely like, "Oh, yeah. It's been a while."
No wonder I've been told I lack "attachment" more than once.
