Oh well, I agree that's not good, however there are some cases more extreme then others. I don't think raising your child in your faith is necessarily bad, if you're not real forceful and rigid about it like fundamentalists usually are.

Yes, fundamentalists, they’re a different case all together. I’ve been quite surprised by some of the responses I’ve had to this question, it’s been an eye opener.

I was impressed and interested by the replies from Riverwolf, Falcon, yourself and Noaidi. I consider these to have had some forward thinking applied, rather than closed thing I have come to experience when speaking to believers in the “real world” (i.e. people I know). Obviously the replies of the believer were of more interest to me than the non believer. But that doesn’t mean to say I don’t value the opinions that they offered.
