OK I admit my mistake. It was Rivewolf who said sex with animals would be acceptable if they could give their consent. But I tire of discussing this. I will not change my mind and you will not change yours. You have your translations annd I have mine. Some day God will let us know who is right. Thanks for sharing.

But I did show verses that say sex with animals or close relatives is wrong and you never commented. Maybe you are only concerned with sex between men.

OK This is my last post on the subject. What about sex with your neighbor's wife. Is it only wrong if you are doing it to worship Molech? If you are just doing it for fun it is OK?

Why are you changing the subject, - and making weird assumptions about what I think about an act, - just because I am debating what a Bible text actually says???
I personally don't think one should have sex with the neighbor's wife, or husband, as it hurts the spouse.
However, we are discussing Molech worship, which had Sacred Sex Prostitutes. It also had yearly rites, - just like later in Europe, - where people mated up for sex, - including neighbors, family members, etc. We even know that at some point a women would make a once in a lifetime offering of her body at the temple, traveling there to serve as a temporary Sacred Prostitute.

OK thanks for your ideas. Sorry we can"t agree but hundreds of people spent years translating the Bible and their translations do not match yours. I guess you are smarter than all of them. Most other scholars believe God is listing actions that He finds abominable and telling people not to do them whether they are doing it for Molech or not.

Years of translations or not - I'm showing the actual Hebrew or Greek words and their meanings.
And I have PROVEN beyond any doubt that some of these translations are absolutely wrong.
For instance - you can't turn the word QADESH into homosexual. It means a Sacred Prostitute. And you can look the word up - even in your Christian Strong's, to prove that. Yet that is exactly what they have done- for instance in Deu 23:17. This is absolute PROOF that no matter how many people over time have translated it - they chose to misrepresent - and mistranslate it.
Deu 23:17 There shall be no whore among the daughters of Israel, nor whoremonger among the sons of Israel.
Deu. 23:17 There shall be no Qadashah among the daughters of Israel, nor Qadesh among the sons of Israel.
Both words mean a Sacred Prostitute. Look it up. Here is Qadesh just for you folks -

From H6942; a (quasi) sacred person, that is, (technically) a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry: - sodomite, unclean.

If all parties involve consent to such a thing, then it's acceptable. It's also acceptable if both wives want to have sex with each other, as long as everyone involved is openly communicating on the matter.
The key to "acceptable" sex is informed, non-coerced consent. Not an old lawbook.
