Sounds like you're saying everyone who disagrees with your lifestyle is bigoted which is incredibly conceited
I think that people who spend their time worrying about other people's lifestyle should try to get a life of their own. I spend no time at all disagreeing with other lifestyles, so long as they do not harm others.

Being gay is not a lifestyle.
You'll never convince @Darkforbid of that. I live a happy life, with the same partner for decades. I go to work every day (I just am not interested in retirement), in Information Technology, not hairdressing. I drink beer in an Irish pub that is not a gay venue, simply because it's close to home and where my friends (who are almost all straight) are. I wear clothes that look like a typical elderly male. I brush my teeth like most people, I don't discuss my sex life with anyone except my partner. I eat meat and potatoes, but if I feel like a quiche I'll bloody well have one.

What kind of "gay lifestyle" is that, I ask you?

Because any psychologist will tell you blaming an outside source is a fundamental attribution error
If you're talking about individuals, that's partially true. There's no point in trying to help someone recovering from alcohol abuse by continuing to blame their dead alcoholic parents.
But in large groups, looking for root causes to explain common behavior, it certainly is. Pretending that homophobic parents, churches, and communities aren't the reason that their children grow up dysfunctional is delusional.

Excuse me, but I didn't label anything at all.

'I've said this before -- I was a leading member of the Pride movement in Toronto years ago, and what that was truly about was NOT "pride" in anything like a sinful or in-your-face way. It was about simply saying, "I'm not going to be ashamed any more of being who I am. And you bigots can no longer make me feel ashamed."

Really

That group is so pathetic they might as well be a parody.

Pathetic? No.
Abomination and blight on humanity? Yes.
Jesus weeps at their antics and hate, and twisting of his message.

What makes you think I worry about anything,, and the topic in this post is?

I hate to sound old-fashioned but a cereal promoting LGBT rights is...err... kind of "weird"..

I mean, most adults avoid the conversation about "where babies come from" and look awkwardly at each other. They skip the whole "When a guy likes a guy, or a girl likes a girl..." side of the discussion because that's generally too advanced even for most adults.

So it's a strange situation when reading the back of a Cereal Box is now part of a child's sex education. Just...think about that for a second...

No, it's promoting tolerance and attempting to eliminate bullying of anyone who is different. There's nothing about sex education. LGBTQ+ is the last group or demographic it's still ok to hate, harass and bully. I chuckle to myself every time I see a tv commercial that has a same sex couple. And most of them are for everyday items and situations. I chuckle knowing that some self-up-righteous conservative Christians somewhere are having a stroke over it.

That was quoting something from the distant past, and you ought to be able to see that -- what with the quotation marks, and all. It refers to a time when shunning, beating, and refusing to rent to or hire guys was pretty common. And that, sir, was bigotry.

I'm sure you'll forgive me if I say, however, that you are trying SO hard to show your dislike that I'm beginning to feel as though it might apply again.

This is the sort of thing I hope this campaign addresses (slurs blocked to comply with forum rules, but I think we know what they are):
