Yes. When you don't understand the research or conclusions.
Google "correlation doesn't equal causation", for a start.

Post #51How is stating the increased drug use within a community the same as saying the community causes drug use?
Yay, let's promote lifestyles with increased drug use
Nonsense.Never said it was, I said it was a lifestyle choice
Post #51
How about we decrease drug use by decreasing the psychological abuse of gay people?
Tom
I think that people who spend their time worrying about other people's lifestyle should try to get a life of their own. I spend no time at all disagreeing with other lifestyles, so long as they do not harm others.Sounds like you're saying everyone who disagrees with your lifestyle is bigoted which is incredibly conceited
Excuse me, but I didn't label anything at all.Acceptance isn't a human right nor is it his right to label anything that doesn't accept his lifestyle bigotry
You'll never convince @Darkforbid of that. I live a happy life, with the same partner for decades. I go to work every day (I just am not interested in retirement), in Information Technology, not hairdressing. I drink beer in an Irish pub that is not a gay venue, simply because it's close to home and where my friends (who are almost all straight) are. I wear clothes that look like a typical elderly male. I brush my teeth like most people, I don't discuss my sex life with anyone except my partner. I eat meat and potatoes, but if I feel like a quiche I'll bloody well have one.Being gay is not a lifestyle.
Nonsense.
You've claimed both that homosexuality is a choice and also a lifestyle.
Never that being gay is a lifestyle choice.
Tom
If you're talking about individuals, that's partially true. There's no point in trying to help someone recovering from alcohol abuse by continuing to blame their dead alcoholic parents.Because any psychologist will tell you blaming an outside source is a fundamental attribution error
Excuse me, but I didn't label anything at all.

That's the same thing.Never said it was, I said it was a lifestyle choice
I hate to sound old-fashioned but a cereal promoting LGBT rights is...err... kind of "weird"..
I mean, most adults avoid the conversation about "where babies come from" and look awkwardly at each other. They skip the whole "When a guy likes a guy, or a girl likes a girl..." side of the discussion because that's generally too advanced even for most adults.
So it's a strange situation when reading the back of a Cereal Box is now part of a child's sex education. Just...think about that for a second...
'I've said this before -- I was a leading member of the Pride movement in Toronto years ago, and what that was truly about was NOT "pride" in anything like a sinful or in-your-face way. It was about simply saying, "I'm not going to be ashamed any more of being who I am. And you bigots can no longer make me feel ashamed."[quote="Evangelicalhumanist]Excuse me, but I didn't label anything at all.
This is the sort of thing I hope this campaign addresses (slurs blocked to comply with forum rules, but I think we know what they are):

If you were black, and people told you that they disagreed with your "black lifestyle" because of the colour of your skin
